So I have this save file I've been using for this one walkthrough and suddenly, nothing happens when I hit e at objects like grindstones, blacksmithing places, and workbenches. E still works on barrels and chests, but my save file has been corrupted or something. I concluded this because I can load up skyrim and do "coc whiterun" and I could use the workbenches, blacksmithing area, etc and they would all work. Now, nothing happens in these latest saves. I thought it was mod clashing, so I uninstalled all my mods and then it was still like that. Something went wrong with the save file, are there any programs where I could reconstruct my save file or copy my data. Or could someone fix a code error in my save file?

The scenario is actually believable if you thought about how people treated the myserious things they saw back then. Tornado = god's anger, trippin cuz they sinners. You get the point. Beginning: You start out with amnesia and slowly find out who you are. Once again, it's unlike the witcher 2. This is actually from a story me and my friends made up when we were really young. Currently deciding if there will be a female option in the game. I'll see what happens. As of now, it will be about a male character. This will be a whole new world apart from Tamriel/Skyrim. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [color-green] With that said, if you have a microphone, you have decent knowledge with creation kit's papyrus scripting, or you want me to include your custom creations (models, music) in my mod. Holy crap. What a coincidence. I'm currently adding 5 differne colors to a set of armor and I name each color to ColorScheme.png . LOOOOL If you need any further help, do add me on skype(in my sig), I've done several retexture mods before.

Lol. I'd personally just use a drow race or that other oriental beauty race you mentioned. It's some work with creation kit. You could either replace all the model files for the vanilla one and replace it with the custom one or delete the vanillar races and rename your custom races to the vanilla one.

I am vaguely insulted. I don't play soduku, tetris or "mind games." I guess I'll go back to playing Girly Games ™ like Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Bioshock, Dragon Age, Mass Effect and the Witcher. Dude, between 30%- 40% of gamers are female. We may just not choose to advertise it because of the nonsense we get for it. That said, make your mod/overhaul however you wish and good luck with it. I hope it's awesome enough that gamers regardless of their gender will want to play it. Sorry if I offended you or any females who read my topic(gonna go change it now), I wasn't trying to be disrespectful to the female gaming population in anyway(I love them), but I could go to a school, community service, some fast food shop, a game center, and most of the time. They're like "wTf is skyrim,minecraft, tf2, etc". If I include the female portions of the game, it'd double the work and I wasn't really convinced how many girls would be able to see my mod until you posted. I'll see what happens. Vague example, if 100 people played skyrim on the computer, around at least 20 didn't know about mods or didn't use mods, There'd only be 80 people and it is a fact that there are more male gamers than female gamers, so around 50 boys and 30 girls. Hm. There's also the many other games out there people play like cod, battlefield that get a whole lot of attention since skyrim isn't officially multiplayer even though a mod is in progress for it. If it is as you say, then I'd be delighted to include the female gender role as the protagonist. Yea, I've seen a couple of videos of the treatment girls get in the game world. I'm not sure how many girls play skyrim, but I'll include it after seeing your post. Anyways, thanks for the reply. Welcome to a thread regarding a mod I am making. Most people won't help me because they think anyone who comes here making a "Big" or "serious" mod that's going to take a long time will opt-out very soon. Well, just give me a chance and I'll prove the stereotypes here wrong. The day the Creation Kit was released, I thought of this mod. I won't give away too much information about this mod because I wouldn't want anyone copying. But I can tell you what the mod will be about, it's era, and basic gameplay design. What if I wanted them to make different clothing when they first started, or maybe I'd make it only for a certain race. Like if it is my custom race then the clothing shlal be this.

So I'm making a children mod and all the armor on the children other than the children clothing are invisible, but their stats are still applied, ingame or in creation kit. Does anyone know how to get it like drow race where all default armors and custom ones automatically get scaled/resized into sizes that would appropiately match the body of a small race like drows? Thanks. Please reply asap.

Oh. What's the point of that one papyrus thing in the stage that says sometihing like equip clothesprisoner. And I know how to do the dialogue stuff, but thanks a lot for reminding me. I'll check the papyrus stuff from the conversations to see if each possibility has a certain papyrus thing that makes Hadvar say a certain line

I was goign to make a thread like this for my mod that I will begin a few months later, but this looks pretty interesting.

So when you start Skyrim, right after you are done picking your race. Hadvar, the man who eventually escapes with you says something about your race, like if you're a red guard"What's a redguard doing here or if you're a khajiit"What's a khajit doing here" or if you're some elf and he'll say "What's an elf doing here" etc. Something simlra happens at the party, there's this one part where if you're a high elf/altmer(however they call it), one of the thalmor people say why are you not at your post because you look like one of them when normally they'd start attacking you. Is there some script/papyrus stuff that lets this happen. Mines is more basic, I just want to make it so that if you're a certain race, a set of clothing of some armor appears at a certain place. Anyone know how to do that? Like say you were an imperial and ther'es a set of imperial clothing at the execution table before the dragon comes. I can't find a script in the stages, all I see is showracemenu and once done picking then start dragon quest.... cant find anything about hadvar's special treatment. oh and if anyone knows, in the script, im not sure if im allowed to post it, but it says to equip "ClothesPrisoner" at this one part im assuming right after you choose how your character looks. There is not entry in creation kit in the content box when searching that. Is there some kind of identification somewhere else in some quest alias?
