I'm making a weapon pack mod for skyrim and I'm trying to figure out if I should add enchantment to the weapon or let the player choose what enchantment they want and should I make it so that the player have to craft it or you have to find it in a dungeon.What do you suggest? Also how many weapon do you think I should have in this weapon pack mod?I was thinking about 4 or 5

I'm making a mod for skyrim and I'm having a problem with the texture on my sword, there some kind of black spot on my sword and I can't figure out how to fix it, it only show the black spot outside. The tool I'm using is blender 2.68a, nifskope, and the creation kit of course, I'm also using the Nif Utils Suite tool. One last thing when I load the sword in the creation kit I get this (TEXTURES: (null : (null) is missing a diffuse map) warning, I click on yes to all and it load the sword just fine, could that be link to the problem I'm having. If you need more info just ask.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this or not.I have try google this but couldn't find a good a answers, but I want to know what the difference and use with the textures with underscores texture_n texture_m texture_e and if you could and don't mind, tell me what the use for the other textures with underscores.

I been working on a sword in blender about to be done with it all i got left is to finish the texture then I want to put it in skyrim, can you send me a link of a tutorial or something to show me how to put custom sword in skyrim that i made in blender,I couldn't find anything on the web that can help me put sword in skyrim all i could find is how to put armor in skyrim that you made in blender or 3ds max and i dont have the money for 3ds max.Just so you know I know how to mod oblivion but now i want to move over to skyrim also I know my way around blender and Creation Kit don't know if that matter.
  6. Ensure that you have archive invalidation activated. If that doesn't help you can try exporting it as a format other than obj. Generally I would avoid .obj anyways but for what you are doing it should not make a difference. Thanks, you were right, it was the .obj format, I now made it a .3DS, then exported it to .nif format and it works swimmingly. I did think it was odd that was the issue, but it was, so hey, thanks!
  7. I'm new to this forum, so sorry if this has been solved in another thread. I tried to Google it but didn't find any solution to my problem. I'm working on a Halo Energy Sword mod and I got nearly everything to work, but when I put it in the game, it shows some kind of glitch texture on it. I was using blender 2.63 and export it as .obj, I then imported it to blender 2.49, and then exported it as a .nif, if that helps.
