  1. I rarely ever have a CTD but stutter was an issue occasionally. I didn't use the tweak posted here but used one from another fourm member named yafi who shared this tweak and it fixed my issues. 1. Open skyrimprefs.ini (Documents > My games > Skyrim) 2. Look for, or create, the following four lines under [Display]: fMeshLODLevel2FadeTreeDistance= fMeshLODLevel1FadeTreeDistance= fMeshLODLevel2FadeDist= fMeshLODLevel1FadeDist= 3. Set each value to 10000000.0000, no higher, no less. 4. Save, close, and be happy! This worked for me.....
  2. Hi Yafi, Since you seem to be pretty savy with Skyrim tweaking can you take a look at my other post and see if you have any thoughts of what might be causing the issue. Shiney Lines On My NPC Thanks Yafi, if you don't want to bother with it that's ok.
  3. Just tried this and it worked flawlessly....I actually do have a pretty beefed up rig but even so this little modification has Skyrim running smoothly now. Thanks for sharing this Yafi, the little graphic quirks that plagued my game are now non-existent. Kudos!!!
  4. Type these commands and it will get you out of the vision and give you Dragonrend. setstage mq206 70 setstage mq206 100 The glitch doesn't always happen but when it does it seems there is no other way to get through it other then the 2 commands I posted. Hope this helps.
  5. Hello Everyone, I have these lines that only seem to appear when i am near certain flame sources. I don't know if it's game related or maybe a setting with my graphics card. The lines don't appear near every flame source just certain ones like the candles next to the bed in the main bedroom in the Breezehome. Sometimes I will see these appear when I stand next to the big fire pits in the Taverns. You can see one going across her forehead and a couple going down and across hear breasts. It's just kind of Irritating especially if I want to do some screen captures. http://a4.ec-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/150/9d6cca8cca69480c8c5344dcb5afbabe/l.jpg This is my graphics card... HD7970-DC2T-3GD5 ASUS HD 7970 DirectCU II ASUSU HD7970 Thanks for any advice you can give it's truly appreciated. P.S. The game when first ran automatically set everything to max or Ultra settings....I'm not familiar with how to edit the settings but I'll try doing some searching to see how it's done.
  6. I have seen many types of Mods for Skyrim, some Lore friendly others not. It's all good to me because people should have choices of how they want to mod their game to fit their playing style. I don't think throwing out a pitch for and American Indian Regalia outfit would be out of place considering I have seen Sunglasses and Levi trousers added to the game. I found an image of a African Princess drawn by Snowbyte an artist at Devionart Forum who gave me permission to link to his image. To me she looks more American Indian then African but the image is what gave me the idea for the Native American Regalia Mod. "IMAGE FOR REFERENCE ONLY NO MODIFICATIONS PERMITTED" http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs11/i/2006/224/e/a/African_Princess_by_Snowbyte.jpg Snowbyte's Gallery I think a female Skyrim character would look stunning in an Native American outfit especially wearing a Indian Chief War bonnet. A Male version could be made as well and maybe even make some period weapons to go with it. This is just an idea! Thanks to Snowbyte for giving me permission to link to his image.
  7. How old am I? The Smithsonian contacts me daily for DNA samples so they can use it to carbon date fossils.
  8. Just thought of another possibility that ties more into the Lore of the game. Since one of the main races are Nords here is an actual Nord name. ÁSMUNDR: Old Norse name composed of the elements áss "god, divinity," and mundr "protection," hence "divine protection."
  9. Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa Living from 63-12 BC, Agrippa lived during a time of great Roman generals such as Julius Caesar and Pompey, and served as the highest ranking and most respected military leader under Rome’s greatest emperor: Augustus Caesar. Agrippa was one of Augustus’s (then called Octavian) best friends throughout his early life, and rose to power with Octavian as he was Julius Caesar’s adopted nephew, and was appointed governor of Gaul in 39 or 38 BC. Agrippa was hailed throughout Rome for quelling a Gallic rebellion, and became famous for refusing to have a triumph help for him. Octavian then seized control of the Roman Empire when Agrippa won his most famous victory, the naval clash between the Egyptian forces of Marc Antony and Cleopatra VII, the Battle of Actium in 31 BC. Agrippa participated in minor campaigns in 34 and 33 BC, before leading massive projects to beautify Rome, ordering for the large aqueduct Aqua Marcia to be renovated, and cleaned out the sewers and plumbing systems. This later prompted Augustus to state that he had “found a city of brick and left it a city of marble.” In his later years Agrippa charted geography, carried out surveys of the empire’s citizens, and helped to secure the new empire government system and added his own ideas to how it should be maintained. This guy to Rome was like Patton was to WWII. Hope this helps.
