With the amount of mods changing body textures out there I'm surprised they aren't easier to find. Anyone?

I would love to get more into skin texturing but I can't seem to find many tutorial sources anywhere. Are they mostly photo sourced, created in blender with materials, photoshop only? Any tutorials, links, and tools would be helpful :)
