  1. Having a problem with an area in my worldspace that holds a Swamp, now since this swamp is extremely close to sea level and it's land often rises only just above sea level then goes under it again this results in an LOD that has severe Z-Fighting issues, when working with a Lanscape so low to the sea level and so uniform in terms of maximum height alot of the subtle height data gets lost upon LOD generation, alot of parts of the landscape getting flattened in parts which causes the z-fighting in these areas. My questions is can i open the LOD chunks in Nifscope, export them as a .obj, open them in the 3d Editor of my choice then retopologize it to a slightly higher and more accurate polycount then export it back as a .btr file?
  2. A user by the name of TrappaTroopa on reddit posted to both r/Skyrimmods and r/gaming a link to this website http://moddedskyrim.com/ which does not include any of the mod authors permission. I made this post just to inform any well know mod authors of this and to maybe check out the website to see if their mod is included in this list of unpermittedly redistributed mods.
  3. Okay so i've had this problem for a while now, one day i just loaded up a my save for Fallout 4 and noticed that all of the textures for the cars were missing. So i did some searching and seen that i had Jesters Better Destroyed Vehicles installed, thinking it was a problem with that mod i uninstalled it, loaded up Fallout again, textures are still missing, so i then tried reinstalling the mod again only this time manually by placing them in the correct folder (which i did) and still didn't work. I even went as far as to delete all traces of all of my Fallout 4 mods then uninstalled Fallout 4 then redownloaded it through steam, installed it again and loaded it up with zero mods and it STILL didn't work, damn vehicle textures are still missing i've tried everything, verifying cache, didn't work. Its like the game isn't even using the textures in the BSA file (Which is there btw). I'm at a loss here.
  4. So i had a look around in the nexus to see if there was a mod to remove the drunken double vision when Geralt consumes any Alcohol but unfortunately couldn't find one that existed i was wondering if it would be possible for any kind person to see if they could give it a whirl or if it would be even possible, i tried to see if i could get to know the modding tools myself although it doesn't really do anything but crash instantly for me. Thanks in advance for any answers.

  6. In response to post #24622409. #24622729, #24622874 are all replies on the same post. Which is exactly my point they're hard work that they did for free paid off by them getting recognized and into a solid job within the games industry instead of them getting pittance while they're be abused by Valve and Bethesda.
  7. I don't understand why modders are expecting to be paid for creating their mods, if they want to make money from their skills then they should get into game development not game modding. Modding a game has always been a community thing, has always been a way of people showing how much they care about a hobby not a way of making an entire living and even if you know your not going to make a living off modding then why do it in the first place? I'm sorry but i think if you get into modding to make money out of it then you shouldn't be modding in the first place. I am speaking as a modeler working on Beyond Skyrim a project that is even bigger than Bethesda's base game and not asking for a single cent.
  8. I seem to be having some slow download speed with a premium account, i can't get above 700kbs and i have very good internet download speeds (65mbs). Any idea what could be the cause? Edit: It seems to be only with NMM when its manual its fine.
  9. Hi, love the video sharing option although I know i'm gonna sound like an ass for saying this but do you think it's really a good idea to let people link LP's, I mean its just going to result in the video share section being plagued by people hoping to get a couple of views. I would like it if the video share section was for Mod reviews and mod showcases only, again i know i may sound like an ass but i'm just expressing my concern, i don't mean any disrespect to anybody in particular.
