  1. I'm looking forward to this. It sort of reminds me of the link system of websites that was done over 20 years ago, where there was one website that hosted links for certain things based on a common interest. This in no way detracted from a specific website, but it allowed one to find *more* sites of a similar interest. Obviously, this is a very simplistic way of saying what your program is, especially since you have a lot of actual features, but it just reminded me of those days. I hope the beta has success!
  2. This. Looks. SO. AWESOME. I've now read every page and I'm stoked! I really like his "human" form. It gives him an air of mystery. But his skeleton form looks wicked. XD Also, the less use of scripts the better - at least for me. My games have a ton of scripts and they don't get along nicely, even with a bashed patch. So...I like mods with less scripts, unless the mod is too awesome to live without. Which this one is looking like.
  3. Sad to say, verifying the game cashe and reinstalling didn't work. :( I left images and documentation on what was going on with the mod author. I hope he knows a fix. Unless someone knows how to make Adobe see .dds files so I can alter the colors?
  4. I'm having the same problem, too. I do not have an NVIDIA driver, so it can't be that for me. I am only running into this issue when I use Renthal311's texture packs, but I use quite a few (Nobel's HD 2k, Optimized Vanilla, Hybrids HD Plants and Herbs, HD Ivy...and a lot more, but the problem is only occuring in the "plants" and "farmhouse" folder of the texture file). I hope the fix from Bauldric works for me. I've contacted the mod author, also, so if it doesn't work maybe Renthal knows what's going on.
  5. Hey! I had to redownload NMM and now can't find my Aurlyn files. :( I also can't find her on Nexus! What happened to her? I just found out about her as a follower a few weeks ago and was enjoying my playthrough with her. Will she be back?
  6. Hey there! I was wondering if anyone could help me retexture some Witcher armor? The armor is here: http://static-3.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/17259-2-1337323600.jpg. Basically I want to make the pants more like a dark leather and the jacket a more neutral color. I am trying to do it myself but have been plagued with problems, including a PC meltdown (non-related, I hope lol) and my photoshop not wanting to open the file type anymore. Any help would be appreciated! Maybe I can do a trade, help for help?
  7. Hey everyone! I have a general question and request for help. I'm looking to getting into modding seriously as a way to enhance my graphic skills. I want to make face presents/companions of characters based upon stars who were in fantasy movies and TV shows. People like Katie McGrath, aka Morgana from the BBC's Merlin, Bridget Regan aka Kahlan Amnell from Legend of the Seeker, and a few others. Some have already been done like this and I don't want to redo those (unless I feel I have a different view). I eventually want to get into making unique outfits for them, but first thing's first. So, is anyone willing to help make these, or guide me as I try to make them myself? Thanks in advance!
  8. Yay! While I'm all for letting sites/users/people manage themselves, there are always those ones who will abuse the privilege and then blame everyone else when they get in trouble. I personally love how tough you are on trolls and the like - it's why I now avoid other sites with forums unless they're mostly private. I'm too busy to deal with stupid crap and too busy to put things in front of my life. I don't want to waste time on needless dribble from people spamming when I can come to a place like Nexus and get what I want right away. Yes, sometimes the comments and topics get off hand, but that's easier to sort through than trolling and spamming. As for logging IPs/not logging IPs: it's easy to see if an IP is being used for a dummy account or an account that is otherwise legitimate. When I lived at home my brother and I shared an IP address because we shared a computer and frequented the same sites. Only once was this ever called into question and a simple explanation satisfied the staff. We both logged hours on these sites and while had similar interests, it was easy to see from our conversations and who we associated with that we were different people. If someone is scared that their friend's account/sibling's/whatever will be banned because the IP address is the same and they like the same things, then maybe something wrong IS going on (telling said person to endorse the file just because - and it happens frequently). If not, then I'm sure the staff will work with it. In the outside world there are laws in any country you live in/travel to, why should a site like Nexus not have laws? These rules aren't that harsh, but because some people somehow think they've got some kind of right to do stupid things and get away with it then there needs to be this kind of moderation.
