  1. Oooh I'm very much looking forward to this mod. Great design work with that boat.
  2. Certainly not. We practically live on the positive feedback we get from you guys. Its what keeps us going. I think I speak for most people when I say you needn't have any fear that mods will be released privately. Once you invest that much time into something you want everyone to see it and tell you how great you are.
  3. If you are lamenting not being able to play as a legionnaire in Oblivion you might like to roleplay as one at least. I know I did. TRN One of the Gang
  4. It would be within the reach of a first time modder to create the physical church. The harder step would be to re-texture the inside to remove the Divines in the windows. Finally the quest and faction would take some time.
  5. I'm in favour of this sort of mod. I played something called The Farmer's Mod for Morrowind, and am yet to find a mod that I enjoy as much (although Nehrim is close). It was an economics based mod. You purchase a farm, then upgrade it to a plantation, then buy more land, grow crops, sell it at a profit, etc. As Legacy mentioned it will require a huge amount of scripting. I would recommend as you suggested, starting with just a few shacks. Release it as a BETA and build on it from there.
  6. If it were me I would reduce the size of the room by about a third. The reason being that it looks a little empty. If you were to summon dozens of skeletons it would work, as they'd fill the space, however the engine simply cannot support enough creatures to fill the room. Now I don't really know how the whole package fits together and this room may actually be better off large, it was just a thought, don't do it if it doesn't feel right.
  7. Admittedly I asked a few people for votes near the beginning of the month. But I never really expected it to result in anything more than a Number 5 place for a few days. When it got about 4 votes and entered as Number 5 it got exposure to the community that it otherwise may not have received for months. I put a message at the top of the file thanking those who had been so kind as to vote - drawing example from loads of other files on the database. Appologies for any misconduct on my part, the thank you message has been removed. My new way of saying thanks will manifest itself in the big update that's on its way which I think is altogether more fun for all involved! With regard to the new rating system I would love to see something like what Ranokoa outlined earlier. Something similar to a form where you can rate a file on different aspects. No mod is going to get 10/10 in all areas, not even DLCs can do that. So a break down in the ratings would be very, very cool.
