  1. I don't feel the CK is particularly buggy or slow, but it is bad at one thing that you might want a tip about. Version control. If you're recruiting people to work on this project, you're going ot need it, and the CK is bad at it. Look into TESVSnip. Oh, and please come over to the Bethesda Forums Official CK Subforum. We're very helpful over there, and the CK is a mighty beast to tame.
  2. It is complete. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29956 Expect a tutorial to accompany it within the week.
  3. Now THAT is a great idea. Will begin working on it tomorrow.
  4. If you truly want a monk character, try this one too: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29273 It's another skill I made, Unarmored.
  5. I already did that: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29453
  6. Yes, that is what I meant. I can look into doing that for you, but it might take a little while.
  7. Most people are under the quite mistaken impression that new skills cannot be added to the game. I'd like to correct that notion, with the addendum that new actor values cannot be added to the game. However, skills can be simulated quite well through script. I've made two mods already exploiting the trick I use, so if anyone has a good idea for a skill I'll make it and write the tutorial as I do. When I release it I'll credit you as the idea person, and the tutorial will go into posterity. If anyone is interested.
  8. Well, if you're not planning on being sneaky I'd say I've done the best rebalancing of Archery. Also the simplest by far. Look up Bow Equals Warhammer. Basically just a damage adjustment for bows so that they're not miserably weak and all your enemies are pincushions by the time they die.
  9. Hey, was wondering if you might say something about the fixes I've made within the description of your video. Thanks,

    Alex

  10. I'm just announcing that I have a functional Mark/Recall spell up called Portal - Dynamically Placed Teleportation/. It basically works like Portal the game. Here's a link: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23135
  11. Hmmm. I could make it such that if the player IsInCombat==true then it doesn't work. Actually, yeah I'm gonna go do that. EDIT: Yeah, that was a good idea, thanks.
  12. Okay, here's what the mod does: Every time an enemy dies, or you pass over a corpse, it looks through their inventory for anything above the V/W ratio that you yourself set. Then it gives all that stuff to you, and the enemy keeps all of their other belongings. Simple as that. More technical description: Actually what is happening here is the following: Every enemy has all of their stuff transferred to an imaginary chest. This chest has a script attached to it that sort things into loot above the V/W ratio and stuff below it. The stuff below it it gives back to the enemy, the stuff above goes to you. Simple as pie. How to use: You're gonna go to Farengar's desk in Dragonsreach, and there will be two new destruction tomes for you to pick up (actually the spells are in restoration though). One will allow you to choose your basement Value/Weight ratio from the options of 5,10,15,50,75,100,150,200,250, and 300. Once you choose this, cast the other spell (which is a cloak) on yourself. From there on its happy looting. Let me know if there are any problems. NOTE: This "strip searches" all enemies, meaning even if they keep their armor, they won't have it on. Get used to naked corpses.
  13. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18434 It's basically what the title says, it gives all the NPCs appropriate perks for their class. Every NPC. Even one's from other mods. Even companions. Should make bandits a bit more interesting, eh?
  14. I recently made a circlet with the flame from Dawnbreaker's hilt on the front gem. It renders okay in the CK and in the preview pane of the inventory, but for some reason only the circlet renders and not the flames when you actually look at it during gameplay. I was hoping someone could help me address this. If you want to look at my meshes, they're up on here under Circlet of Light. (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11805#content) Everything seems all right to me, but it just won't render those pesky special effects! CircletLightAA is the Model, and CircletLightWorld is the World Model. Thanks a bunch!
