  1. Ok I got a reply to the same question I posted on the Bethesda forrums.
  2. Not exactly, the video may be a bit dark. So it might be harder to spot, but basically the smoke is still present, it's just not being lit by the light. In the case of this video, the smoke is being lit by the light as I move towards it, and becomes un-lit as I move away. While the whole time the light is visibly still on, so the light itself is definitely not fading out. Another point to make is that the same type of glitch can occur while standing in one spot (You can even be standing right next to it), and just changing the angle of the camera. I might try and make another video to help illustrate it better. EDIT: Ok I've made another video to help illustrate it better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlSV340M2EU
  3. Hi I was wondering if anyone knows what causes this type of glitch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_33pJsa7-I I've noticed the occurrence of this type of glitch can be a bit random at times, and It's been driving me insane trying to get to the bottom of it. P.S. Some more background information. Though I've seen this glitch occur on an un-modded Skyrim, the video I've linked shows my modded placement of a light in Whiterun. I initially thought that maybe the glitch had something to do with the light placement, so I tried the following. I reset the three light sources I edited in that vicinity, back to their defaults, so as to start fresh. Once I had done that I tested in game and the glitch was gone. I then edited those light sources, tested again and the glitch was back. So I once again reset them, however this time the glitch was still present (Which illustrates the somewhat randomness of it). The other thing of note is that there aren't any over lapping light sources, which can sometimes cause glitches, which is why I'm so stumped. Regards, _Volrath_
  4. Yeah, I've recently come back to playing Skyrim, and have noticed the same thing. Strange thing is I can't recall it happing nearly as much as it is for me now. I'm wondering if perhaps one of the patches made this issue worst. Would be interested in hearing how many other people are having the same issue. I've even removed all installed mods, verified game integrity, and started a brand new character, but still had the same issue. Also updated my drivers, but that didn't help either. EDIT UPDATE: Ah discovered why I was finding it a lot worst. I had increased "fNearDistance"
