I think it would be great to stop the random dragon attacks after the main quest has been completed, particularly if you kept Paarthurnax alive. It would make sense and would be a great option for people, like me, who have more dragon souls and loot than they need after the main questline. The dragons could still spawn but not attack, allowing people who need souls or loot to dragonrend them down. I've looked in the creation kit but have no idea how to make a mod that does this. I just think it would make a logical addition to the game that gives some further incentive to finish the main quest, since the random dragons can be annoying to deal with after a while.
