  1. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this. I have an old mod by AceeQ saved on my hard drive. A few months after he uploaded it though, it was removed from the nexus. Whether this was his decision or a matter of copyright infringement is something I'm not entirely sure of. He since has never reposted the mod anywhere, nor has he posted any updated version of it. I rather like this mod, and I wish I could recommend it to others and give them some way of trying it out for themselves. I've tried contacting him to see if he would let me repost it on the nexus, giving him due credit of course, but to no avail. He has never responded to me. Am I allowed to post this mod, or at the very least, a heavily altered version of it? What is the Nexus' Administration's policy on this?
  2. I've been working on a relatively small town mod for Bloodmoon. I'm just about finished wrapping up all the fine details, I save, and then turn off my computer. Next time I turn it on though, boom, the ESP doesn't load. Hell, just opening the construction set gives the warning "File 'himmelryn.esp' is not a valid TES file". Well this isn't the first time this has happened to me. So I do what I did last time, rename pukcab into backup.esp. Same problem. Now when I load up the construction set I see "File 'backup.esp' is not a valid TES file". So what gives? What causes this problem so I can try to prevent it in the future? Is there anything I can do to fix my mod, like tools or some other utilities? It's small but that doesn't mean I haven't put a lot of time into making making lots of finer details... it'd be disappointing to lose that progress...
  3. I'm wondering how similar the process would be to say, extracting textures from a .bsa file and then placing the modified texture in the data folder. Would that not work with an .esm file? Would I absolutely need to create a plugin for a modified LSCR file?
  4. I'm currently trying to edit the text in loading screens. I've tried editing the .swf files, even the Translate_en file, but I've yet to find the source of the loading screen text. Anyone have any clue where it might be located in the game's files?
