  1. I'm confused too... I had the latest beta installed (1.4.21.0.4) but I have no new Steam updates today... Can someone clarify? Will Steam download the latest version released today, or is the latest beta the same version that went live today? I am getting so many conflicting answers from here and on Beth forums. The only thing I noticed today was that the Skyrim Launcher reset my .ini files to there default settings...
  2. Hi Guys! Just a quick question on something that bugs the hell out of me. When using fire destruction spells, there is no visible evidence of burning on the NPC's body. Would it be possible, or does a mod exist that would cause NPC's bodies to be charred after using fire spells, or from other fire effects that cause damage (such as those hanging fire pots)? It would be great for immersion for bodies to look like they were actually killed with fire. Perhaps by using the charred bodies that are already present in the game. Just a thought... what do you lovely modders think? Is this possible?
  3. Hiya! Just wanted to let yo know that I LOVE your mod. I also sent you an email with a little goodie if you care to use it! Send me a message and let me know!
  4. If you need some sexy graphics for you mod... Give me a shout!
  5. Not gonna lie, I'm jealous... Lol. I'm running on a MacBook Pro with a GeForce 9600M GT and a Core 2 Duo at 2.8. Not a gaming rig by any means, so anything that will help with CPU bottlenecks, I'll take it! But I can see why it wouldn't garner you much more performance over vanilla.
  6. Well I thank you guys for your input. I made the switch from TESVAL to SkyBoost. Honestly I am not seeing much of a difference performance wise, so I guess if I have stability issues, I'll just switch back... I am eager to see if the upcoming 1.4 update will incorporate any of these "fixes" One other thought. Are you SkyBooster's running R3 or have you tried R4...? Issues?
  7. Simple question, looking for feedback. Which of the two would your recommend and why. I have read through the comments for both mods but still don't have a clear idea of which one is superior. Both SkyBoost and TESVAL offer to do the same thing. Some user report more stability with TESVAL while others suggest SkyBoost offers better performance improvements. I have tried both, and honestly can't tell the difference between the two, although I do notice FPS and lag improvements while using these mods. What are your thoughts? Between TESVAL & SkyBoost, which one offers: Superior Performance ImprovementsBetter StabilityMore User/Author Support Thanks in advance for your feedback!
  8. Hiya Fellow Adventurers! I recently started having issues with black snow flakes falling. I am not exactly sure when this started happening, or if it's been happening all along, and I only just noticed today. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and knows how to fix it. Here's a picture and a link to a video to show you what I mean! http://f.cl.ly/items/1T301P3w1c0z2d2B3Z3s/blacksnow_sm.png Video Here I don't think this is a memory or texture issue as I am getting solid 35-45 FPS, and I have 4GB RAM (which Skyrim is not even close to using) so I am stumped. I was hoping to get some feedback before I start disabling mods in an attempt to find the problem, but I don't have any snow or weather mods installed so I'm not sure what else could cause it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Mods... I probably should have put this in Mod Technical Support. If you feel it should go there, please move! http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/wink.gif
