SSE How to hide parts of map?
Corpsehatch replied to antstubell's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
There is a Hide On Local Map option when you double click on things in the Cell Window. It will prevent the area from showing on the map. -
Open map by activating an object.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I'll see about getting the mod uploaded sometime this weekend. -
I'm working on a small immersion mod that adds the civil war map to every inn. My current playthrough is no map no compass but instead using road signs and Clairvoyance to navigate . The only time I can use the map is while standing in front of one of those maps. This is when I set a custom marker or active quest. If possible I'd like to be able to use an activator placed on the map to open the map if that is even possible.

SSE Custom Follower Friendly Fire
Corpsehatch replied to Corpsehatch's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
Excellent. Thank you. I will try that. -
Working on a custom follower. I gave her the Fire Breath shout as one of her abilities. However, she will aggro my other followers if she hits them with Fire Breath. Is there a way to prevent friendly fire for this? Companion's Insight perk from Dragonborn does not work. Thanks, CH

I'd like to see a " Donate to Nexus " button for premium members to help the site out.

In response to post #41268885. #41269455, #41269515, #41270195, #41270680 are all replies on the same post. @Sacremas - I sometimes post comments on mods while on break at work. Not the most ideal thing to do from a phone.

I had no idea this was a thing. Was there even a notification about it?

Steam got the same dislike when it started just like Origin is getting now. I use it for the games and that's it. I avoid the discussions because it's like a schoolyard of children arguing among one another. I'll only buy a game if it's on Steam. I did sign up for the Steam Card drawing.

The stories I could tell when I worked in computer repair when a system came in with a bad RAID controller. Some of the Frankenstein's Monster setups I came up with to pull data off a server with a bad backplane was comical. Best of luck on the rebuild. I know it can be time consuming.

File bug reporting system and image uploading updates
Corpsehatch replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
Image upload is awesome now. No more typing in or pasting the name of the image saves time. -
I just started another new character. I don't think I'll ever stop playing Skyrim.

Removing Payment Feature From Skyrim Workshop
Corpsehatch replied to lordmonkus's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
The Paid mods experiment might be gone but unfortunately the damage has already been done with the backlash towards a few modders. Hopefully when things settle down they can return here. -
There are Vanilla Skyrim female guards in the Rift guarding Ivarstead and Riften. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Guards

My recently released mod Advanced Cooking which makes cooking a perk based skill. It uses the Alchemy Perk Tree and will level Alchemy when using a cooking pot. Each perk unlocks new recipes to cook newer, more complex food items. A no perks version, which uses books in the place of a perk is also available for compatibility with perk overhaul mods. Many new foods have been added as well. I made this for my current playthrough and decided to upload it considering it's a concept I've not seen anywhere before.
