  1. Long story short, I'm making my first quest mod and my second follower mod. I have come across many problems, I've solved quite a few, but there are still problems... First one, navmeshing. I made a new land, in order for any AI characters to walk on it, i must have navmesh settled. But my navmesh looks like this: I have no idea how to fix this, even though I move my follower to me via console, he only walks a few steps, then he no longer follows. Also, the standalone follower I made in this mod seems to be too happy in her room and refuse to follow any further than her room, I think this is also a problem with navmeshing(probably AI package though). Second problem, lip sync. My mod has custom voice acts, and they are in .wav. However, the CK said their bitrates are too high and cannot generate .lip. I took this advice and tried to lower their bitrate. The warning didn't pop up afterwards, but there is no .lip files generated after I pressed generate. Link to my file. *Please also check if the follower (Ellean) has any face bug and see if the boss (Aearonor) is being attacked by his own men. Thank you very much if you are helping!!!!! If you are able to fix one or both or even improve the mod as a whole, I would love to add your name at the credits and you only need to send me the modified files to me, it saves space
  2. someone please help !!!!!!!!!
  3. update: i reinstalled skyrim, i can now load "coc whiterundrunkenhuntsman" but i cannot load an earlier save. when i look at the skyrim trace log, it's the same as above.
  4. I'm running my Skyrim on Windows Bootcamp, but i don't think it was a system issue that causes the problem. Since i'm running out of space, i moved all the mod files(zips and 7z) from C:\Games\Nexus Mod Manager\Skyrim\Mods to my external hard drive. When I tried to restart nexus mod manager, it prompted me to uninstall some mods because they can't be found, i accidentally uninstalled several mods. I aborted the process. After that, i ran TES5Edit and BOSS , no error reported. Therefore, not caused by uninstalled plugin files, and there are no plugin files uninstalled.(i was not promted to answer yes/no when loading a save file) Plus the game CTDs anyway when i type the command "coc whiterundrunkenhuntsman). Therefore, it is not caused by any save files. Then i enabled the log tracing function of the game, i found this: full path: C:\Program Files (x86)\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim\ redirecting CreateDevice initialising shader environment unable to create depthStencilSurface (hr=-2005530516) after some research online, it is related to SweetFX, at least that is what i think. Please help guys! I also attached the tracelog of nexus mod manager below
  5. Ok, I've successfully made the character out. But just 1, I will release it anyways.
  6. That tutorial is very long, and i think I did something wrong in the middle so I make the face has different colour from the body. My mind needs some rest, it's so irritating I don't even have some of the files the tutorial mentions then I don't know what to do in some of the steps.
  7. Hmm, that is a pretty detailed tutorial, I'll try it later.
  8. Thanks! I will be using vanilla race. But what about: 1) How to allocate custom face and body textures? 2) How can i make the followers use hair styles from other mods?
  9. I've played Skyrim since its launch, and I've created 3 beautiful characters during multiple play-throughs. Unlike Dragon Age which you can have multiple characters you can play with in one go, Skyrim cannot. So I want to turn those characters I've created into followers. However, I'm very new to the creation kit and making mods beyond simple body mods and other minor things. Here is what I want to learn: 1)How to make unique followers -a)How to turn .npc files into actual head meshes (.nif) Solved -b)How to assign head, eyes, body, hair... meshes to their location (ie. how to allocate them in CK) Solved -c)How to I assign proper AI and attributes to the followers Solved -d)How to I place followers in a certain cell/location in Skyrim Unsolved -e) How to allocate custom face and body textures? Unsolved -f) How can I make the followers use hair styles from other mods? Unsolved 2)How to make the mod work -a)How to build the mod Unsolved I will be very graceful if a step-by-step tutorial is given, cuz I can't find any which I understand. Thank you very much to whoever posts a tutorial! EYECANDY:

  11. Progress: Helmet Adding on the problem of don't know how to export the armor, I don't know how to properly map the helmet........ Anyone interested in co-developing this?
  12. I'm a new guy in making armor for Skyrim, this is actually my first time. Now, i'm trying to create a Japanese armor (Nanban Do Gusoku) What it actually looks like: What i'm up to now: I'm actually having trouble on exporting the file from 3ds Max, it says "You have attempted to add a child to a ninode which already is a child of another ninode" which i don't know what to do next... Can any experienced guy help me? Or perhaps we can work together to complete the set. The file is here
