  1. Look here: http://tesrenewal.com/forums/morroblivion-mod-releases/relwip-ravenloft-huge-house-mod
  2. I'd like to revive this thread because I have a similar issue. I just re-installed Skyrim and the CK so there shouldn't be any corruption of files. EDIT: I got a tip on how to re-order through the sort masters step using TESV so my problem is solved. Here's what to do if anyone else is interested. Load plugin in TESV -> Right click on plugin and left click on "Sort Masters" -> Close TESV/Save plugin My mod list per BOSS, Wyre and TESV: Skyrim Update UOP Skyrim Dawnguard UOP Dawnguard Hearthfires UOP Hearthfires Dragonborn UOP Dragonborn ..etc.. Mods as appear in CK Skyrim Update Dragonborn UOP Dragonborn Hearthfires UOP Hearthfires UOP Skyrim Dawnguard ..etc.. If I create/save a mod with multiple master files, it will appear in orange [Masters re-ordered} in Wyre. From where does the CK draw its list of mods..or..how do I re-order the masters in the CK?
  3. I'm jumpin' in to bump this. I've searched the crap out of this flickering face problem. Most threads are a year old but they point to a problem with Crossfire. Supposedly updating Catalyst drivers to 12.1 would fix it. My driver is current [13.8]. It didn't fix mine. Supposedly, turning Crossfire off and running on a single card would fix it. It didn't. One thread said it was connected to a SKSE tweak but I'm not using the tweak. [as far as I know] Another said to change a setting in the INI file; didn't work. I haven't seen any comments about this being mod/conflict related to CharGen mods. Does anyone know if this problem exists with vanilla? When I played the vanilla version I was in first person. It wasn't until after I modded the game and wanted to see my character that I found the problem. Unchecking all my mods won't give me a true vanilla but I'm gonna start there. It sucks to spend hours modding the game into a visual paradise and your character walks around with their face flashing like a bad neon light.
  4. Without taking the poll, I can tell you I'm an independent with very liberal beliefs. In all likelihood I, too, would have been classified a "bleeding heart". I can see this is quickly going to turn into a political shouting match so I'm gonna get in and get out. Why I didn't participate in the poll.
  5. EDIT: FIXED - Apparently all I needed to do was shut down PC and restart. I was able to delete files w/o problem after. Still don't know why they were hung up. Unfortunately, I can't edit topic title to let people know it's fixed. I have some dds files I cannot delete from my textures folder. I get an error telling me the file(s) are open in another program. Checking properties tells me the program is windows explorer. I don't have any other programs open or running in bkgd. These are the files including directory. Oblivion/data/textures/hecc/HECCamethyist, HECCamethyist_g, HECCamethyist_n, HECCamethyistobelisk, HECCamethyistobelisk_n and HECCjmrock_n Oblivion/data/textures/hecc/Neuer Ordner/HECCamethyistobelisk and HECCamethyistobelisk_n I viewed a couple of the files using Sage Thumbs. There is no discernible picture, just pixel spaghetti. I've done searches for the file names and neuer ordner as the author's name with no results. Anyone have info on what it is, where it comes from or how to get rid of it?
  6. Ain't it the truth. I've spent the last few days digging through the database to build my dungeon. Like you said, I had to get creative. I spent hours turning and matching pieces until I got everything to look right. I looked at some other mods to see what they had done. That helped a lot. I'll have to check Seaview out. Thanks again.
  7. I'm trying to add an underground level to a house. I am using LeyawiinFGBasement02 (0003EF1E) This has 3 sides enclosed. I cannot find matching wall tiles to finish the basement. I've searched many threads as well as tutorials for info. What I've learned is the CS has many premade interiors but not many tiles to customize interiors. Somebody had access to the tiles used to make LeyawiinFGBasement02, but these tiles don't seem to be included in the CS. While I'm at it, here's another example; PrisonCell2Way etc. All these cells have outlets, but I can't find matching wall tiles to close them up. Are the tiles there and I'm just missing them? They'd be in Static/Architecture, right? Or did they build all those interiors and then failed to give us the components to customize them? I'm going to try and find/open another mod and see what tiles were used. The goal is to get a working ungd level whether it looks Leyawiin or not. Thanks in advance.
  8. like this? http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/23895
  9. I made a mod that edited some landscape. When I run TESIV Edit, I get conflicts listed under Worldspace. These all pertain to edits I made to the landscape. They all have green lettering over a yellow background which means, "Override without conflict". Everything is fine in-game. Do I need to fix this?
  10. BOSS and WryeBash are both telling me they need cleaning. I could look/see if they've been updated on Nexus since I downloaded them, though.
  11. Thanks for the reply. I think I figured it out. Here's a quote (paraphrased) from the instructions: "..click on the NPC tab and then on the list of NPCs. The Partner NPCs will be listed just above this with the prefix “cm” or “cn”: cmBree, cmRandi, and cmWinden, for example. Choose one of these depending on the type of character you..." I thought this meant I could use any CM Partners NPC as long as it had the cm or cn prefix. I was using one with the cn prefix. I now believe I have to use one of the NPCs listed in the quote. When I did, the mod worked fine. Now I have to figure out how to raise the disposition so the companion will join me. It's set at 37. I don't have the bribe option. When I tried to use the mini-game it went down to 13. (I hate that thing.) Anyway, thanks again for your help.
  12. Sorry for the confusing opening post. I originally loaded a number of mods, including the 2 mentioned, into Data, and did the whole BOSS, TES4Edit, OBMM, WRYE thing. As I recall, those mods were cleaned w/o any problems. After playing through the game, I did a reinstall of Oblivion and loaded a different group of mods into Data. This time, these 2 won't clean. The name never changes to dark green after the last step. When I close TES4Edit, I get no window telling me the mod was cleaned.
  13. I've got 2 mods that I can't clean with TES4Edit; Trade and Commerce and Jhaeriks Dungeon Fog Remover. I was able to clean these before, but this time, no go. Any ideas why some mods will clean and others won't?
  14. I have tried about half a dozen times to create a companion esp following the instructions in the CM Companion mod. Each time the game freezes during loading. If I deactivate the companion mod (I created) the game loads and runs normally. I did a search for other tutorials but they varied in technique. One of them required creating an esm and then deleting it. Just didn't seem to be the right way. I like the instructions from the CMCompanion mod because they are simpler than the others. Just can't get it to work. Here's a quick overview of the steps in the CM Companion instructions: 1. click file then data - check Oblivion. esm, CMCompanion.esm, CMCompanion.esp - click OK 2. click NPC - doubleclick on a cm companion from the list 3. change ID and name (I know I could change other stuff, but it isn't necessary) - click OK and then save as an esp 4. place companion on map - save Now it seems to me this is all that's required but the instructions go on to add location references for the purpose of adding a map marker, which I did. I've also tried not adding a map marker, but same result; game won't load. I could sure use some help figuring out what is missing. EDIT: Yes, I ran BOSS, OBMM and WRYE prior to running game. One other question for someone fluent in companion creation. I've found CMCompanions (ingame) with Marksman at 40 but I do not see a way to permanently alter companion stats during creation. I can uncheck PC Offset and AutoCalc and then raise companion level to 15 which will give the companion a 40 in Marksman but soon as everything is rechecked and saved, the numbers revert to original stats. Is it possible to alter companion stats permanently?
  15. I went to Fort Redmont, took the helmut and the axe. Melissa appeared and ranted. I left the dungeon. When I returned to Bruma, Meris and DeMonde are nowhere to be found. I've searched the mountainside (where I believe the castle is supposed to be) and found nothing. I've re-entered Redmont looking for something I missed. I've run all over Bruma, day and night looking for DeMonde to continue the quest. I've done searches to see if others have run into similar problems but the only clue I've found is that there may have been some dialogue following the acquisition of the helmut that was missing when I played. Any ideas?
