  1. Thanks, I didn't realize that LOOT sorted based on the ESP's header info. I'll read up on the manual and see if I can optimize my load-order. As it is, I can run the game fine w/ an automatically created Merged Patch (FNVEdit w/ Leveled Items entry removed). If I build and activate a Bashed Patch I get NPCs w/out weapons. I'll look into this. Thanks again, you explained the issue w/out being condescending and basically suggested I RTFM-- but in a nice way (:
  2. *** UPDATE *** It seems I was using an outdated version of Wrye Bash (Wrye Flash) and it was not using the tags from all but 3 of my plugins. It went from changing 173 to 742 records after updating it. That is probably my main issue here. It seems I also overlooked an obvious part of the Mojave Raiders description. He says you'll need to manually resolve any conflicts w/ FNVEdit. I believe there was a conflict w/ Mojave Raiders, NVCE, and possibly JSawyer mod (as it touches Raiders leveled lists as well). I have installed Character Expansions Revised as it modifies less and has patches for UPP, Mojave Raiders, JSawyer Ultimate, and Uncut Wasteland out of the box. I'm still not confident about the load order. LOOT doesn't have a quick way to tell me if a plugin wasn't managed by it, and requires manually ordering (BOSS had this, but it's outdated according to every guide I've seen). I've got an issue with enemies spawning in with 1. No weapons (or) 2. Melee weapons where they'd normally have guns Specifically, I'm noticing this on NCR troopers. It's breaking the quest with Captain Parker and Keith in the Aerotech office building as Parker spawns w/out his Service Rifle. I suspect it's a conflict or load order issue. I have my ESPs sorted w/ LOOT. I've manually moved a few of them around as it didn't look like LOOT detected them: Most likely culprits: Mojave Raiders JSawyer Ultimate (possible conflict?)
  3. I believe All Natural is causing this. The issue is only persistent during certain times of day and weather conditions. I still don't know of any workaround or fix, however.
  4. I have an issue w/ the water in the Imperial City Market District ponds displaying a solid white texture <see attached image> I'm using Better Cities w/ the relevant compatibility patches for Unique Landscapes, if that makes a difference. My load order: Active Packages/Installers: Can anyone point me in the right direction on how I can fix this? I tried uninstalling Enhanced Water w/ clean save and deleting my Oblivion.ini to generate a fresh one-- but the issue persists.
  5. I believe this mod reduces the font size: Smaller HUD and Dot Crosshair My font size looks reduced and I believe it's that mod. If not, it's still a very nice improvement.
  6. Funny that you mention it-- I just abandoned my Block skill in favor of Illusion and I started using the "Bask" spell to lower my exposure. It comes in handy and it's a fine way to level up my Illusion skill. This is a great point. I guess we can add that one to the list: Spells and Scrolls
  7. Does anyone know some good mods to supplement Frostfall? Specifically, I'm looking for some SE-friendly mods that add clothing to reduce exposure. As it stands, there are only 2 cloaks (linen and burlap) and they don't provide great coverage in really cold places. Cloaks and Capes - This mod adds some cloaks and capes to Skyrim SE. The author claims it supports Frostfall. However, the fur cloak does not provide any exposure protection (last time I tried it). The other 2 cloaks seem to work but don't offer substantial protection compared to the ones that come with Frostfall. Enchantments - It seems like a decent workaround. Get clothing with "Resist Frost" enchantments. However, you'll need to make some compromises. I'd rather use my equipment slots for stat-boosting and magic resistance. Moreover, you'll need a high enchanting skill to make useful items (or get lucky and find some in-game). Camping - When all else fails, setup a camp and wait until the weather dies down (bring extra firewood!) I couldn't find any mods for regular Skyrim that work with SE. On the plus side, I think "Cloaks of Skyrim" and "Winter Is Coming" are in the process of being converted for Skyrim SE.
  8. Aren't ENBs notorious for killing framerate? I'd imagine they'll be better optimized in newer versions. This game just came out and the mods/ENBs need some time to find their footing again.
  9. Back in my day, we had Oblivion Mod Manager and we were grateful, dammit! *shakes fist* What's so awful about NMM, by the way? I understand MO has more features and is user-friendly but I've always been able to do what I need with OBMM, FOMM, NMM, and the various incarnations of Wrye Bash.
  10. Bethesda disabled the Data Files button on one of their Fallout 4 patches and I'm guessing this carried over into the Skyrim SE Launcher. You'll have to use an external program to edit the load-order or change it from the MODS menu in Skyrim. - Nexus Mod Manager - Mod Organizer - Wrye Bash
  11. Do you have Campfire before Frostfall in your load-order? Have you tried re-installing those mods? You might want to try the Frostfall discussion page. The mod author might be able to provide some more insight. If not, all you can really do is disable those mods until you find a workaround. Sorry, I couldn't be more helpful.
  12. It's a really annoying flickering on distant LOD objects-- most noticeable on mountains and distant terrain in Skyrim and Fallout 3/NV. Some people don't experience it but (I think) most people do. I don't have any Z-fighting with the Special Edition but it was pretty annoying in the old Skyrim engine. http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Z-Fighting
  13. Are you sure that's what's corrupting your save files? I'm about 5 hours in and I haven't had any issues with Frostfall: GameMode=SkyrimSE Skyrim.esm=1 Update.esm=1 Dawnguard.esm=1 HearthFires.esm=1 Dragonborn.esm=1 Campfire.esm=1 Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp=1 Frostfall.esp=1 WetandCold.esp=1 Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp=1 No World Map Fog.esp=1 Canis Root Tea 1.2 Tankard Edition.esp=1 iNeed.esp=1 Blacksmith Forge Water Fix SE.esp=1 SMIM-SE-Merged-All.esp=1 No NPC Greetings.esp=1 AcquisitiveSoulGemMultithreaded.esp=1 Realistic Legendary Damage.esp=1
  14. Look for an older version. Ideally, the newest version that works. A couple of the newer NMM versions don't work for me as they keep disabling all mods, say my INI file doesn't exist, or have other issues. I've been using NMM 0.61.21 since the last one was causing issues. I generally don't update software now unless I'm experiencing an issue with the current version or it adds significant functionality (ain't broke / don't fix).
  15. 7 months later and I'm experiencing the same issue. It happens w/ various gunners and it also happened when
