  1. Sometimes modding is more trouble than it's worth
  2. AHHHH Nevermind. When you hit "deploy mods" I "ASS"umed it activated all the mods. It did not, you have to go through and manually activate them. I then started up my FO4 and the saved game still did not recognize the mods. I rebooted... started up FO4, and walla... all my mods were there, and running perfect. Awesome. :) Wish I just started to use Vortex to begin with and saved a bunch of time, but at least the final outcome was success! bottomline, disregard my post above. Thanks
  3. For no apparent reason NMM took a giant crap. FO4 does not recognize ANY mods. After 45 minutes of screwing around I decided to use Vortex. Followed the directions, everything loaded up, everything transferred. Game / Mods on same drive, no errors, everything looks good. Still... when I load the game up, start a saved game it tells me that all these mods are no longer available. I am wasting too much time on this, any help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Anything would be great. I spent roughly 2 hours trying to find the mod but only found one of them and it was a wacky curly hairdo. It did prompt me to download that massive hair mod (KS Hairdos), and I ended up changing the style of her hair (I was running out of options) but if I could get that one back... I would really appreciate it! Thank you!!!
  5. Hate to bump... but I am in a dilemma. I had the last version of Nichole and she had one hairstyle made for her character. It made its way on the selection tool for hairs in the showracemenu and I have been using it for my let's play character for months. As always my Skyrim was acting up so I was purging the some of the old mods I no longer use. I deleted Nichole not knowing she was pulled from the nexus. With the deletion... Ginger Snaps haircut also went. I found an original 7z file of Nichole, but she had a different hairstyle at the time. My question is... does anyone have the last version of Nichole and/or does anyone have the below hairstyle? Or even does anyone know of new hairstyles that I could use? http://www.jayzippo.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/new-ginger.jpg
  6. Damn NMM will not work! GRRRR
  7. NMM still not working GRRRR....
  8. Disappointed that there is no more DLC's... TIme to start ramping up some sweet Modding adventures soon! Thank God for the Nexus!
  9. I've been working on some... Have a few more going up in the next day or two.
  10. I can run oblivion on my desktop just fine... in LOW mode 460X 600 something... with no bloom and crappy graphics. LOL! But I loaded Morrowinds and have it at its highest settings and it runs wicked good. Thought about it all day, cant wait to play tonight!
  11. I know alot of you will roll your eyes or pass this by, but... I spent 4 bucks on the GOTY Morrowinds CD game, unopened at a garage sale yesterday. Loaded it into my laptop, figuring it wont need a heavy graphics card, and it doesn't, and wow.... the memories. Sounds stupid but to the individuals who have played Morrowinds alot (100+ hours) it really made me nastalgic. I have probably put in 200+ hours on Oblivion and about 100+ hours on Morrowinds. So I downloaded a few mods for Morrowins, Better Bodies and the texture pack. Even the lesser graphics was a pleasure to see, just the memories... and the fact that a mudcrab killed me first adventure out, just reminded me how much harder morrowinds was... Balmora was again... comforting and fimiliar... weird how that is. Its just a video game yet Bethesda has created such a mood, such a feel for the game that it can take you back, like an old home, or a friends house and give you that same feeling. Ok sorry... blah blah blah... Dark Elf, Necromancer... havent been one of those since... ummm oh yeah Morrowinds!
  12. I was XBOX 360 for my character. I beat the game with my 3rd character, because the first two didnt fly. I was a female Dark Elf. I set my skills to Alchemy, Speechcraft, Mercentile, Sneak, Security, Conjuration & restoration. No Fighting skills... Got to a point where I needed to fight he was so weak, and I was leveling up so I was like 15th level, I can make a great potion but if a Lion attacked me I was DEAD... I couldnt out run him I couldnt fight him. So I dithced that player. Then I went completely stealth which was fine but again when it came to battle, which the main quest line is VERY HEAVY in... I couldnt keep up with these creatures. Finally I built an assassin / fighter that leveled with block and bow and blade. I could then compete with the other monsters. Also it doesnt make much sense to pick ANYTHING other then LORD for the Sign... getting that 90 points of health is essential to me especially early on. * also I was still in "morrowind" mode and I would be carrying plates and stuff around for a while, and went to sell them and it was asking if I wanted to GIVE THEM AWAY... I was like WTF? I realized they were not worth anything so I was over burdened all the time. Having like Alchemy, Mercentile, Speechcraft, etc as a main skill is a huge mistake, it will level you, but really weakens you in the grand scheme of things. You can build them away from the main skills, a cool challenge all by itself, while keeping your character strong enough for the monsters (I only play at 60% difficulty - 50% is too easy for the most part)
