  1. As I said when I became a lifer, this site is or is part of someone's livelihood and they deserve compensation for the service they provide. It is not expensive when you consider how much it costs to go out for a single night of dinner and drinks. It also gives students, amateurs and professionals alike a place to present their design skills. Perhaps some will build portfolios that will help them find RL employment or advancement. So, do it for your compatriots and for the world economy.
  2. I tried installing this with NMM, Mod Organizer and manually and I couldn't get any of of them to work though I followed the instructions and did the required ini changes. I used BOSS several times and got no errors but I still got CTD every time I tried to start the game. I do use NPC overhaul and the author mentioned in the description that mods which modify NPCs could cause "bugs." That was generous. I figured on black face or bad neck seams, not a complete hosing. I uninstalled the mod but still get CTD. I validated the game cache with Steam and it said it was reacquiring 5 missing files but the game will still not launch. What a nightmare. I just got all my must-have mods reloaded and organized and this was literally the last mod I wanted to load before starting my new game. Neato.
  3. It breaks immersion for me a bit that the respawn rate for plants in Skyrim is the same throughout the year and in all environments. I understand the climate is fairly consistent in the province and there are complex programming reasons why there are no "seasons" per se in ES:V. It seems to me though, from my completely uneducated viewpoint, that the host of weather mods out there should be able to create limited seasonal effects based on how often it rains, snows, etc in the various environments. Is there a way to couple with those effects a modifier to the respawn rate of plant foods and ingredients based on the current month? In a nutshell, blue mountain flowers should spawn normally in Sun's Height and slower in Sun's Dusk. Wheat should be harvestable until Hearthfires and then respawn again at First Seed. This would encourage certain immersion players to accumulate food and ingredients when they are abundant. They could still be bartered for of course though it would be dope impressive if the value could increase in the times of shortage. Market forces of Skyrim!
