  1. After installing these mods (see image or screenshot) I had so much trouble with my 1st person viewpoint every time i sat down/tried to ride a horse in 1st person view, the camera would pan around in an oval instead of a circle, and would not be centered, i.e: not being able to walk in between areas that are clear like a hallway or two counters because you are actually up against the wall or solid surface but think you are 2 feet to the right. http://static-8.nexusmods.com/15/images/101/6173352-1443361586.jpg SUPER-ENLIGHTENING ARTICLE!!! (see below) http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion_talk:Glitches/Archive_11#Camera_Glitches_PC Camera Glitches PC The Camera on my Oblivion PC GotY is really messed up. I started a new character because the camera was ungodly annoying but it didn't help at all. It hovers about a foot above my right shoulder and 6 inches in front of me. I can't see my character or anything he does like swing a sword or draw his bow. This only happens when i am in 1st person view, when I go to 3rd person view it's fine. I have a bow and when I have the reticule right above the target so I can hit it, the arrow will shoot in the bottom left corner of the screen. I have loaded previous saves and it just keeps doing the same thing to those accounts. Also, when I have a sword drawn, I have to walk for the camera to stay in the right place, if I begin to run it immediately shoots up. Unless I need to become a master 3rd person archer, I'm in desperate need of help. I have also reinstalled the game like 3 times and I have the Oblivion 1.2 Patch along with some unofficial patches. Thank you in advance. 4.157.68.164 17:16, 22 November 2009 (UTC) I don't think it is a glitch. Go to the view of the rotating camera for 3rd person. Then use the shield and attack buttons to move towards and away from your camera. I believe this is your problem. Good luck!. –Elliot talk 10:08, 23 November 2009 (UTC) I found out that when i start a new character, the camera is fine, but as soon as i move the camera it shoots up to the wrong spot once more. Btw the rotating camera didn't work.4.157.68.125 21:14, 25 November 2009 (UTC) AH-HA!! I Fixed it! I went into Oblivion/Data/Meshes/Character/1st_person and deleted all of the files and now it is fixed! — Unsigned comment by 4.157.68.125 (talk) at 00:40 on 10 December 2009 (UTC) ~ DELETING THESE FILES WAS THE ONLY WAY TO FIX MY GAME! THANK YOU ELLIOT! -GreywardenGirl
  2. VERY LATE UPDATE: The LAA application does allow the game to continue in spite of the memory link, but only if you dont create any extra saves, you have to turn off autosave, and only use quicksave... I know it sucks but at least one can continue the ultra cool storyline with the DLC. I have successfully finished Witch Hunt and the Golems of Amgarrak! Now working in Awakenings...
  3. Ok well i will hold my breath and keep fingers crossed that i can complete all the DLC included in the Ultimate Edition so as to put together a history worthy of imports into DA2 or a custom world state for use with the new superb Inquisition game on PC! Wish me luck i am just about to complete Witch Hunt with my Origins warden.
  4. I know im a bit late for the answer to the million dollar question regarding the DAO memory leak, but i thought it important enough to put this out there, because it is the only solution i have found that works... Dragon Age Origins Memory leak workaround , Greetings All! I have discovered the secret to continued gameplay even after the memory leak crashes start. You have to download this memory enhancement tool and apply it the DA application exe file. see link: http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/large-address-aware.112556/ After 2 years searching for a way to fix this, the only thing that works is this app which allows for 4 GB of memory to be allocated to DA Origins as opposed to 2 GB which doesn't seem to be enough once your character has multiple saves deep into a campaign where the game has to keep track of all the events, equipment, relationships, completed missions, DLC, etc. I have tested this and can now play all the DLC without crashing!
  5. sorry I meant i was experiencing the error issue with DAOMM could not find the add-on xml file
  6. So....., could you tell us how you fixed this??? I would like to know because suddenly out of the F'ing blue my DA zips are all gone and i'm getting the same goddamn message.
  7. can anyone help me? i just installed the GOTY version of Oblivion and am using Xpadder with Direct X 11 and W7 64, and all the character does is run around, i can't stop him unless i shut off Xpadder, and then a Hotkey screen comes up that i can't shut off unless i turn Xpadder back on. SOS!!! -thomas
