  2. You may want to give Windows 10 a go, you have 30 days to switch back to windows 8.1 I built my new PC from scratch about a month ago and immediately upgraded and Windows 10 is infinitely better than 8.1 (i'm a windows 7 users on my previous laptop). No issues with my new set up and I'm running GeForce Experience to record gameplay for the channel. My set up is: Windows 10 Nvidia GTX 980 Ti (latest stable drivers through GeForce Experience) 16 GB RAM I have heard that with windows 10 the Xbox DVR app conflicts with ENB but that's about it. I've definitely heard more people having issues with windows 8 + ENB than windows 7 or 10. You don't have much to lose and the upgrade doesn't take long, try it out as a last resort.
  3. Dumb questions I know, but just so I can help narrow things down a bit: 1. have you tried launching without ENB installed and is there no issues on start up? 2. Are you trying to load a new game (recommended for testing) or your old saves? 3. What OS?
  4. I can confirm that if you were an NMM alpha user before this major update, the transition is seamless. It auto-updates and once you confirm it downloads the latest version of NMM and installs it over the previous one. No prompt to uninstall all mods or even talk about profiles since you've already been through this. I didn't know this yesterday when I tried the update so I had uninstalled all my mods beforehand but hope others read and avoid doing that/saves them some time.

My point was that I didn't know these things either and everyone has to learn somehow. I learned by trial and error and or reading documentation that was available to me (and you). Implying is not the same as actually saying something, I never said people don't try new things but that's besides the point. I didn't say ask me for help either, and you seem to be generalizing based on your interaction with me. There are far better people out there who would be glad to try to help you if you just tried instead of complaining here. What I suggest, is figuring out the problem by trying out new solutions on your own or asking for help from other people. Report any bugs through the proper channels and or roll back to the old NMM and game on. Getting upset over something silly like this is a waste of time. If you were offended, I apologize, it was never the intention. Best of luck.
  6. In response to post #28783004. #28784604 is also a reply to the same post. I'm not a rocket scientist, I learn most things by...trying new things. No one guided me or held my hand. If people really can't get this right, then they should ask questions, report bugs in the proper bug tracking section and or roll back to the old version of NMM until issues are resolved. This was not a smooth launch at all but again, people had months to learn about this and try out the alpha. It was a known thing that this would replace the old NMM once it was ready for public beta. I hope you get yours up and running and hopefully a big youtuber like Gopher or whatever will make a video to help people who are having issues. I'd do it if I had the time and ran into more issues.
  7. I really don't understand how this is difficult. I jumped on the NMM alpha train when it first arrived on the nexus and personally never had any issues with it (therefore didn't report bugs). I have hundreds of mods installed and delicate way of setting up my textures yet still didn't run into problems. I was even able to copy/paste my mods and folders to set up NMM alpha on a newly built computer so I wouldn't have to re-download and re-order my mods. Went smoothly. For this update, I just uninstalled all mods and manually re-installed them like when I first set up NMM alpha. It's easier this way and faster since I knew exactly how to set up my game (took about an hour and a half tops). Anyhow thank you for the great work on NMM, I personally like the UI as it is now and primarily use it for it's simplicity/aesthetic compared to say MO's god awful colors and design. People don't like change, that's their problem. There was ample time (months) to prepare for this.

  9. Bethesda just posted a response to this all (not specifically this article) on their beth blog http://www.bethblog.com/2015/04/27/why-were-trying-paid-skyrim-mods-on-steam/ Beth Blog direct and nifty clickable link for the lazy My body is ready for another Dark0ne post.

  12. In response to post #24570379. #24570484, #24570489 are all replies on the same post. Boris (creator of ENB) has said he will never do this (with ENB binaries) and no one is allowed. You should believe him because believe me, he doesn't play with his words and always says what he means. Will people sell presets? Probably and Boris has said that's allowed but it doesn't sound like a good idea and they better have good customer support skills.
  13. Hi. Does anyone have any modded weapons, shields or staves they would like to see patched for Dual Sheath Redux? I recently found out that it actually isn't to difficult to make patches for them and would like to give back to the modding community. If you installed DSR recently, you may or may have not seen my tutorial for it: How to Install Dual Sheath Redux, XP32, Immersive Animations I'd like to take my tutorial a step further and show people the simple process of making your favorite weapons/shields DSR compatible through a video and then provide links to many patches I have done for their favorite unsupported weapons in the video description. I'd be down with uploading these patches to the nexus as well of course but would have to receive permission from the original authors first. I'm very grateful to Neovalen and Will from the DSR mod page for providing the written tutorials and notes for this process. A huge thank you again to them for already providing a ton of patches for many popular mods.
  14. I'm not sure anyone will look at this but just in case, If you're looking for Metroid Power Armor/Suits for Fallout New Vegas, I've uploaded a quick guide to youtube on how to achieve it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLjk5Rc3SsA For obvious reasons, the suit isn't available on the Nexus or Steam Workshop but I have provided a download link for the textures/meshes for 3 different suits (gravity, varia, phazon) in the video desciption. It's a simple and quick matter of replacing a current mod called power suit system's textures and meshes with that of Samus Aran's suit.
