  1. I also cannot change mine for the same reasons. Tried different browsers, turning off adblockers, signing out and back in again... nothing's working. As soon as I hit the minimum 3 character limit it says whatever I typed in is a restricted word. EDIT: Tried again a couple hours later and it worked... idk man. Weird bug. lol
  2. Still seeking help on this one, if anyone is able to figure it out... doesn't seem so, at this rate. x.x
  3. Hey all. I've recently come back to the wonderful world of Skyrim and took the plunge from SLE to SSE and have been loving it so far. Unfortunately, about 100 mods in, I'm finally hitting some issues. I'm using a number of animation mods, so let me list them all here: FNIS (+ sexy move, PCEA2, creature pack and spells) - all working correctly Pretty Combat Animations - working correctly I also have CBBE + Bodyslide Studio and XPMSE skeleton. and most recently decided I wanted to try and add Pretty Female Idles... (important to note, when this one didn't work I attempted another idle animation mod... which suffers the exact same problem as PFI) So I'm using Mod Organizer 2 along with LOOT. I read mod descriptions and try to keep all my mods in as good an order as possible but maybe I messed up somewhere along the lines, idk... Pretty Female Idles and apparently no other idle mod will work for me. I found ONE way of making it work and that was to open up RaceMenu, change my gender and then back, reload my preset (to fix the uggo from gender swapping) and the animation plays just fine for all tested idle mods. However, this BREAKS the other animation mods. Everything reverts to vanilla. I find this really perplexing when I had no issues adding any other animation mod... Nothing seems to be overwriting the mods and the mods themselves are not overwriting others, either. So no conflicts. Does anybody have any idea what the issue could be here? It's probably something painfully obvious but I haven't modded in so long I may as well be considered fresh and new to it... Thanks everyone.
  4. Thank you Euph. :) I'll give all that a shot. May be a while before I get back here to inform anyone that it works, since my CTD's tend to happen a few hours into the game but I'll be sure to give the results here when I'm able to finish testing. Again, much appreciated for the suggestions. I will definitely look into it!
  5. I kind of figured it would come to that. I had hopes that something in my load order would be identified by somebody more knowledgeable on the matter than I am. Unfortunately, the amount of mods that I have and the amount of time (anywhere from 1-3 hours usually) of gameplay means that I'd be playing games without mods for quite some time before I figured out if it was working again or not. I guess I'm just going to have to toy around with xEdit and see if it's something I can figure out or... well. Deal with the CTD's. Thank you for your response though. It's better than nothing- and I don't mean that in an insulting way. lol
  6. Still receiving crashes. This time while wandering the commonwealth and another just now when I was VATS targeting a robot enemy from automatron. CTD as soon as I hit e to fire it off. Getting really frustrating. Anybody have any ideas? I'm at a loss.
  7. Alrighty... So I recently modded my FO4 and everything's been great, unfortunately I've been having a semi-rare CTD issue, usually within settlements and/or while in the building menu. I figure it's probably something I overlooked while installing all of them but I just can't figure out what the issue is. Hoping someone here can help me out. I'm almost certain it's one of those things where I skimmed over something important or failed to read something properly but... who knows. Description of the CTD: Random CTD (crash to desktop) 2-3 times just wandering around in Sanctuary- I haven't even build anything there yet. Twice while in build mode in Hangman's Alley- once in the actual area and once inside one of the basement bunkers from Basement Living mod. (I was receiving crashes before I installed this mod- FYI.) It may also be worth noting that my load order was fixed up by using the latest version of LOOT. My System Specs: Windows 10, MSI GT72S Dominator ProIntel® Core i7-6820HK CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.70GHzNVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M16.0GB RAM1TB Harddrive My Versions: All mods are updated to their most recent version, as is the game itself and all of the DLC's. Verify Cache reveals no problems and Fallout4.ini and Fallout4prefs.ini are edited appropriately, I believe...? I followed the guides for how to enable mods and all that, and all mods appear to be working as intended... which is making this CTD very difficult to track down... My Load Order: Ultimately, I feel it may have something to do with Homemaker or my load order... or maybe I just overlooked a patch somewhere or something? I'm really not sure. My CPU and memory while running the game are all MORE than okay, not even close to half capacity according to the monitor I have, so I don't think it's a memory issue. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? It's a tough nut to crack... (...or maybe it's exceedingly simple and I'm just an idiot. >.>)
  8. That seems to have done the trick! Muuuch less laggy now. Still have a few lag spikes here and there but I think that's partly due to my perhaps slightly unwise decision to lessen fog and such in the distance. Think I'm gonna re-enable that and get a little bit of my performance back. ^^; Thanks again!
  9. Oh, awesome! I saw that mod on Google but passed it by thinking the HD bit implied it likely wouldn't have low-res texture options. That'll teach me not to make assumptions! Thanks ^^ I'm gonna give this a go and see if it doesn't make my travels in the forests less horrific. ;)
  10. I didn't mean that to sound as if I was offended or anything! I was just saying. :) Really sorry if the way I wrote that implied otherwise.
  11. A couple of places I visited said that if I install the ENBoost thing it could help out even if I'm not using an ENB. So far it's fixed my random CTD's so I think it did something right. :) And I know where to install textures and all, just wasn't able to find any "low res" tree textures to download or something. Unless removing the 2K HD LITE tree textures could somehow help... Not sure if deleting that would be a good or bad idea, though... Figure if I do that, it'd revert just the trees to their vanilla basics?
  12. Hmm... alright, thanks for the info. I'm gonna hold off on installing all that just yet because I really don't have any desire to download HDT or the High Heels mod in general. I'd really just like to narrow down what might be causing this issue and if I can't get any other solutions I guess I'll give that a try. Thanks again. :)
  13. Okay, so I have the mod Skyrim HD 2k Textures - LITE and it's great. All is lovely... however, I lag like all hell when in forested areas. No doubt because of the higher resolution graphics on the trees. Is there any way I could lower the resolution on trees or install some sort of... low res tree texture mod if there's even one out there? I don't want to remove the entire mod because everywhere else runs smoothly, it's just forested areas my computer can't seem to handle. Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this? ^^; Keep in mind, I'm running ENBoost (I don't actually use an ENB though) and a bunch of other stability/functionality type tweaks and all so I don't need any more of those... just need a way to lower the tree res or something without making them look TOO atrocious or removing them all together. I also prefer -not- to disable shadows from my game if I can help it- last resort.
  14. HDT high heels, yes. The installer launches with several options of animation options with HDT High Heels being one of them. It's not specifically FOR that mod, just a bunch of Xp32's animation mods in one convenient installer to pick and choose from. I do not have it selected so my character shouldn't be having this hovering problem, I don't think... And I could use what to lower my character? Sorry if I misunderstood but I need a bit of specification there. ^^; If you mean RaceMenu, I tried messing with a few settings in there for the body scalers and can't find anything that brings me lower to the ground, unless you know which specific setting does the trick... :smile: Thank you anyway! Still need some help. ^^;
  15. Okay, so... Let me start with my mod list (or those that I think matter for this): RaceMenu UNP BLESSED BODY- UNPB REDUX PROJECT XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended XP32 New Animation Pack Dual Sheath Redux FNIS Pretty Female Idles My character always hovers a few inches above the ground no matter where I'm at. I realize that the skeleton I'm using, as well as the animation pack with it has a high heel mod but I did not select those options so it shouldn't be installed and... shouldn't be the issue, I'm assuming? When my character walks/runs I DO hear noises. I adjusted her height in RaceMenu and thinking that could possibly be the issue I set it back to default but that didn't change anything, either. I've google searched this issue for hours and just can't find anything. Hope someone can help me out here! If anyone reading this knows of any other mods that are known to cause this problem please list them here just in case it's one I have installed and wasn't aware could be causing this issue. Thanks! :smile:
