  1. No. Thank you for your input. I just managed to fix it. Turns out that there was a 2k texture file I left up that wasn't part of the "basehumanmale" folder but one of the other folders (oldmale... or whatever I believe). Let this be the lesson to all-- check your entire folder structure. Thanks again.
  2. I'm really running out of ideas here. I have the brown face bug only on my male PC face and one other Looksmenu preset that incorporates LMCC tattoos. Female face textures are working fine-- they're all 1k, with 512 speculars. All other vanilla male NPCs look fine.* Edit: OK, so I'm not sure if all vanilla faces are, but most are. Some presumably added by Interesting NPCs have the brown face. I'm thinking the issue must be something related to the LMCC tints/tattoo/facedetail/whatever not being compatible with the vanilla male face textures, but I'm not sure. I've even tried applying 512 specs and 1k specs as loose files for male faces only, but that doesn't work.
  3. Do you have more information about this bug? Where can I find out more? Edit: I've sorted out my bug. It was a weapon mod that had faulty files.
  4. OK guys when I removed all Animations the problem persisted. My character keeps drawing melee weapons and the fists as if it's a rifle. What could be causing this issue???
  5. I have. It's in third person so I checked the Animations folder and the Player folder. I removed the Player folder and the problem persists. I'll try removing the whole folder to see what happens.
  6. The problem still must be in the Data files somewhere, right? Somewhere a file is being replaced where it shouldn't, or an esp issue, right? I've noticed that the problem persists across all saves, no matter when it's from.
  7. I have a few animation mods installed, but I've tried removing/reinstalling them to no effect. The bug is that when I draw unarmed (fists included) or melee weapons my female character holds it up like a rifle. I cannot attack in this position. Anyone have an experience like this?
  8. In response to post #36933110. #36934215 is also a reply to the same post. I agree with bubinga64's assessment, but I'd like to address a small concern of mine. Even though the files will be intact, will our installation information (on the Mods tab as opposed to the load order tab) be left intact? Otherwise, even though the mod files themselves will be intact, I won't be able to tell which mods were installed in what order. I just realized I can sidestep the issue by deleting all the mods that I don't have currently installed, but that seems drastic. Thoughts?
  9. Heard 1.5 was mod-broken, so I waited until now to try 1.6 along with Point Lookout. I have all the DLCs and some mods (weapons and armor mostly). When I started my save in Megaton, I noticed an extreme lag that probably sank my FPS down to the 10's. Dam* near unplayable with the crosshair getting to wherever I point it a full second later. Did you guys notice any slowdown since patching? Or is it just me? My laptop has 2.8 Ghz Core 2 Duo, GeForce 9600M GT, 4 GB RAM, Vista Ultimate x86. P.S. I noticed that the Kozaburo hair mod I had was no longer functioning, also. But probably just a small compatibility thing.
