  1. So, yesterday I had the idea that I was going to import a fennec from DAI to have run around as a little pet that you could summon/dismiss, much like the ELF cat pet mod. And so far, so good. I've got the model in, got her running around decently (though not perfectly, because I'm not awesome with weight painting), got her in game, summonable, followable, everything working perfectly... Isn't she cute? (Stop standing on her, you fool!) Except... she won't stop meowing. Now, I know that the issue is that I used the cat skeleton/animations when I ported my mesh in. From what I can tell, there seem to be idle sounds actually baked into these animations -- but so far, the only way I've been able to stop the meowing is stop stop *all* cats from meowing, and that won't fly. Does anyone know another way of doing this? Should I be somehow making my own animation (that's a bit beyond my skillset, but I guess I'm willing to learn) -- or is there some way I can override the animation idle sounds? (I did make a soundset for the fennec, attached it via .CHR file and tried putting it in the GDA, but so far, all I get is meowing.) Anyway, any help would be appreciated! ETA: got rid of the meowing with a workaround. It's not a perfect fix, so if anyone has any brilliant ideas, I'd still be grateful.
  2. Good to know! Glad to know it's not me, haha. Thank you!
  3. I have a quick question! Can children not use the IdleBook_Sitting animation? I have a script to make them read, and I can get them to read while standing just fine, but they won't while seated. (Adults read while sitting no problem.) Is this a them problem or a me problem?
  4. Hey folks. I mostly dabble in modding, but lately I've been working on a bigger project for my current playthrough. This mod involves a couple of summon animal spells, like tiny cute foxes, just because I like them. (Useless in battle; fun to be followed around by.) My problem is -- I cannot figure out a way to get rid of the little yelp + sudden death of the animal upon the end of the summon. Is there any actual way to do this? I know it's pointless, but man, it just hurts my heart to hear the little death yelp of my summoned friends. I tried googling and searching through other mods to see what the solution to this might be, but so far I am STUMPED. If anyone has suggestions (or knows of a solution), I'd love to hear them. Thanks!
