  1. In response to post #7938526. #7938558 is also a reply to the same post. I'm using Chrome. I've tried in Firefox as well, but I get the same issue.
  2. Whatever happened to my Tracked Files page? It's never loading, and that's the page I use the most. :(
  3. Alpha Version 01 Release Frontier now has an Open Alpha Version for you to download! You're all invited to take the grand tour of The Frontier. This is an Alpha release of Frontier for Skyrim. There is unfinished business all over the mod. LOD is of questionable quality in places. The landscape is largely done; interiors are in place, of which most are decorated too. There are large areas of unfinished land at the outer areas of The Frontier. There are NO NPC's, NO QUESTS. Some resources have been added already; like new buildings, some new armour, some new weapons, books and so on. There is a lot more to come! Comments and suggestions are encouraged. I am Antiscamp at SkyrimNexus and Antiscamp3 at the official Bethesda Forum. Frontier has a development blog at http://frontierskyrim.wordpress.com/ which is regularly updated. The ModDB page is found at http://www.moddb.com/mods/frontier my E-Mail is [email protected] The Alphas and Betas of Frontier are only uploaded to ModDB. The final version will also be featured at the Nexus. Do NOT upload this WIP to any other site. Thank you. Install manually. If you don't know how to do that, don't download the Alpha, but wait for the finished version. Cleaned with Tes5Edit. To enter The Frontier, open the console and write "cow Frontier -19,-17" Download
  4. I love this game. It was great already during the beta phase and it's only getting better. It's a really recommended TBS-game which revitalizes an entire genre. The lead designer of the game, Kael, comes from the modding world too and he was responsible for one of the absolutely best and greatest mods for Civilization 4 - Fall From Heaven. This also means that the modding capabilities of the game are catered for and fully supported. I can't recommend it enough!
  5. Kelsey473: My goal is to do a bit on this mod every day, and it has worked pretty much in that manner for nine months now (although - to be honest - a few breaks), so - yep, I'm working rather fast. :) Doktorfrost: Yes, there will be snowy wastelands up north, only inhabited by weird creatures and wild barbarians.
  6. There will be a beta soon, with the landmass. There will be no NPC's or quests in the first beta, just the empty world to explore. I will then start creating the main quest as well as the NPC's to populate the land.
  7. I've released another WIP video showing off some of the exterior locations in the mod:
  8. LOL! Actually, Star Trek has been one big inspiration altogether. Back in February when I started this project, me and my wife were watching all the seasons of Star Trek Enterprise. I created a whole location dedicated to that series, T'Jira Monastery (which is an Aldmeri-owned outpost on The Frontier), quite obviously inspired by P'Jem Monastery in Star Trek Enterprise. It even looks like it :)
  9. Frontier is continuing on a daily basis and I've been doing some great progress. I want to update my forum threads, since I've recently neglected to do so. The most recent news about Frontier are found on my development blog. Here are some screenies too. http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac96/Antiscamp/TESV2012-09-0708-07-44-80.jpg http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac96/Antiscamp/TESV2012-09-0707-44-12-84.jpg http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac96/Antiscamp/TESV2012-09-0703-23-56-50.jpg http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac96/Antiscamp/TESV2012-08-1921-32-01-60-1.jpg
  10. Work on Frontier is continuing steadily. Here is a screenshot update of some of the latest progress. http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac96/Antiscamp/TESV2012-04-2911-48-59-11.jpg http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac96/Antiscamp/TESV2012-04-2911-41-15-39.jpg http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac96/Antiscamp/TESV2012-04-2911-36-45-09.jpg http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac96/Antiscamp/TESV2012-04-2911-18-19-01.jpg Follow the mod's progress on the Frontier Development Blog.
  11. Hey, Natula123. Glad you solved it. Oscape can indeed be tricky to work with sometimes. I've done the same kinds of mistakes in there myself :)
  12. wait its good, sorry, had to select feature map and surface thing. Silly me... :D
  13. Hey Antiscamp :D

I've been trying to make LOD for my worldspace and it works but in Oscape it doesn't allow me to select "colors" in the generation tab. Any ideas?

  14. Thanks for the tips, ResolveThatChord. I want the south of the continent to look quite like Skyrim or Cyrodiil and in a way familiar. The more north you get on the continent, the more different it gets. The fact that things do look familiar in the south, will strenghten the feeling I want to give that this is a civilized colony which is also trying very hard to be a part of the civilized world. Like the European colonies in America, or Roman in Britain and so on. In the north though, that's where the Morrowind-weirdness starts :D Thank you, Natula123, for your kind comments. This will indeed be a game in itself when I'm done with it. I have all the time in the world this time around, unlike when I did Dibella's Watch for Oblivion when I had Skyrim's release as a deadline. :)
