  2. Hello, community! I've been trying to create a mod that allows for Daedra worship in the same vein as the worship of the nine (or eight) divines by importing the daedric statues present in Oblivion into Skyrim for use as shrines. I can figure out the activators and blessings on my own, but I'm having trouble importing the actual meshes into the game. I unpacked the Meshes and Textures BSAs of Oblivion and copied the folders into the appropriate Skyrim folders so they can be accessed by the Creation Kit, but when trying to use the meshes in the CK, I am greeted with the ever-hated exclamation point replacement for no-mesh. All the meshes are directly moved from the Oblivion data folders to the correct Skyrim data folders, and they're all in *.nif format, but for some reason I can't use them in the CK. Is there a step I need to take before moving the meshes into Skyrim's data folder? Do they need to be a different format? I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I do have nifskope if that is required to solve this problem.

I was playing with Alternate Start - Live Another Life using the "took a ship to Skyrim" intro and landed at Windhelm where I had to use a console command to get Ulfric to show up in the Blue Palace and I was wondering if it would be possible to have him act more like Balgruff if you don't complete Before the Storm, in that he directs you to his steward. I was thinking that it would be cool to have Ulfric's steward (whose name escapes me) give you some basic radiant bounty quests (kill a few bandits, whatever) after which you have the opportunity to become Thane. I've seen a few "Neutral Thane of Windhelm" mods, but nothing that really has Ulfric deflect conversation and allow for Thaneship in the way most of the other holds do, like Solitude for example (clear out wolfskull cave, place Torygg's horn at Talos' shrine, then help townsfolk and buy a house to become thane). I know this is kind of complex, but that's exactly why I'm posting here--my modding experience is too little for me to even know where to begin with this! Feedback is appreciated, and let me know if anything needs clarification.
  4. Over a year later and still nothing. I'd like to refresh this question, if I may: why isn't there a mod for the Sword of Jyggalag? I'd love to have at least one of the Daedric artifacts from each prince, and the sword seems to be the only one missing from the game
