  1. I second this. Wanted a robot shopkeeper ever since i saw K-L-E-0 in Good Neighbor. Then i got the Automatron DLC and noticed i could assign them like settlers. Was so excited, i built a ton of them, heck i even built a "robot nurse", Assaultron in white paint with saw blade and laser for my surgery chair  Then i realized they do absolutely nothing... man, this is so disappointing
  2. Yeah its really annoying. It just breaks the immersion. Piper has her own newspaper in Diamond City which she is very proud of and she has a little sister to take care of, and she gives up all that to live in some lousy shack in Sanctuary Hills? Thats just stupid. The NPCs are even scripted to interact with each other at their default homes. Nick talks with his assistant, and yesterday when i dismissed Piper near Diamond City (she already had the glitch, so she just walks back to Sanctuary Hills. Fortunatly she is my only NPC with that glitch), upon entering Diamond City i saw her little sister run past me, outside of Diamond City and after her big sister, who was on the way to Sanctuary Hills. And when she catched up with her, they had a conversation, several streets away from Diamond City. Big WTF moment that reminded, how annoying this little glitch is. Edit: I found something. Using "showvars" on a companion, i found out that they really do have a variable called "HomeLocation". But its just some number, an ID for the location. You can't just change that value to Publick Occurences because you don't know the ID for that place. Plus i don't really know how to edit this HomeLocation variable. Its not an actor value, you can't just use setav.
  3. Hi there, not sure if this belongs into mod talk or request, ah i'll just try it here first, maybe someone made something like that already. From time to time when watching Anime shows involving fighting i see this design element on female characters, some kind of Chest Wrap, a bit like a medieval sports bra i guess, find this thing quite interesting, gives the characters a soldier/warrior like look, more aggressive i think. Was wondering if a cloth or armor mod like that exists. Reference pictures below
  4. Thanks i found it, i checked it in the CK, now i can build some really nice scenes =)
  5. Hi there, this isn't really a modding thing, i just want to use the console to change some things ingame. I'm looking for a certain Object ID to place somewhere. Trying to make a battlefield-like scene for screenshot and video purpose, so i want to place Flames around an area, like during the civil war quests when the cities were attacked and you had burning houses and stuff like that all around you. I already got the ID to place a campfire, but thats not really what i'm looking for, there must be some normal Flames somewhere. Any idea what their Object ID might be? Or how to find it out?
  6. Sry dont have Skyrim currently installed, but i looked into your file with an esp tool, you really edited Lydia, dont know why its not working for you Maybe this will work: Try this tool http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4554 Its a very easy to use NPC Editor, i used that to change most of my followers before i needed to do more complex stuff with the Skyrim SDK Go find Lydia in the list Go to Appereance Go to General Change the Stance field to female Save the whole thing put it in your data folder and in your modlist
  7. Hi there, just tried the creation kit today and wanted to make a new Follower. Used a nice tutorial, added the faction, relationship, items, perks, ai and all that, imported a nice face from skyrim, which i had saved with console command, and placed her in a nearby dungeon. In the creation kit everything looks fine to me. Now when i enter the dungeon, the game just crashes to desktop... after doing it all over again now for the third time, i was wondering... my new follower is supposed to wear a custom armor from a mod, and is from a custom race (Ashen Race here from nexus). Can i only use stuff, that is stored in ESM Files? The armor and the custom race come in an ESP file, i just load all of them with the creation kit, the armor esp and custom race esp and the skyrim.esm, make my new follower npc and save it as myfollower.esp. Is that maybe the problem, do the armor and custom race need to be stored inside ESM files to be used by my follower mod? And if thats the case, why the hell can i use the content from plugin files, the armor and the custom race, perfectly fine inside the creation kit. If that really is the problem, then the creation kit is not very user friendly, just my opinion, why make things possible, adding stuff from other esp files, if its in fact not possible. And if i really have to convert this armor plugin and custom race plugin into master files in order to use them, think i saw a tool for that somewhere, do i have to activate those new master files then in addition to the original plugin files already in my data folder? Or could i just replace the ESP files and only use those new Master files, or would that lead to conflicts? Dont really want to litter my data folder with even more files. So confusing, i just wanted a nice follower^^
