Dystortion

So I was running skyrim fine with all my mods for about a week and today for no reason, it simply crashes either when loading in or when in game. I heard bethesda updated the exe so it now allocates 4gb of ram and I have 8gb, but when ever the game starts to use more thank 2k memory, it crashes to the desktop. I know this is a stupid question, but I was hoping someone could help. thanks in advance :)

Ok I'll give it a try. Thank you :) I'll probably manage to f*k this up somehow haha OK so i totally f*ckd this up lol, I am really bad at this, but I can't find a tutorial anywhere online. If someone would be so kind as to tell me how to alter the texture paths in the .nif files that would be amazing, because it only lets me edit one mesh path from the armor in the creation kit editor. Sorry again for stupid questions :'( but its so much fun to mod.

Ok so I created a new texture for the dragonscale armor, then decided I wanted it to be a standalone, so I ran it through the CK. Now here's the problem, it looks like it should in the crafting menu in game, but when I craft it and put it on my character, it looks like the default armor. I have the texture paths aligned correctly, is there anything more I need to do? Sorry, I am incredibly new at all this. Help Appreciated :)
