  1. Vegetable soup says hi to Dual wielding characters. I did 1:1 till both reaches 200, then 2:1 till 300:250, then 3:1 and so on. Worked well enough.
  2. I think I might have a pointer for Destruction mages- Impact + Ice storm. Impact + Ice storm is an effective combination against groups of enemies. Other Adept level spells like fireball and Chain lightning only staggers the first target. Ice storm penetrates and staggers everyone it hits then slows them down. Very effective against Melee enemies, specially in cramped dungeons, even on high levels of 60s. Also because it's only Adept, mana cost gets rather low very early. It's slowing effect makes swapping back and forth with different spells easier too. I haven't gotten far with my mage yet, so I can't say if improved perks and higher leveled spells are better. But I've used it with my other characters to level destruction, and so far find it the best spell in dungeons. I think it'll be best if others can verify if it really is a good point.
  3. I find those that are insecure about the fact that people are playing with the opposite sex in a game have more questionable personal gender Identity than those that has no qualms about it. :ohdear: Myself, I just use the gender more suitable for the type of character based on my preference. A male light armored 2 handed warrior (Barbarian type) > female counterpart; A female stealthy archer > male counterpart, and so on.
  4. The areas surrounding Ivarstead. There's just something about that area that makes the scenery look so... colorful. Given that I haven't explored around half of Skyrim yet, I might find someplace better. 5. I've played quite a bit with melee weapons, and with my preference, 2 handed weapons are best used together with magic because it's the easiest to switch with. Inputting the 2 handed weapon's hotkey while you have it equipped will switch you back to your previous setup rather than just removing, which is great for fast swapping with magic or dual weapons. 2 handed weapons don't fall short on blocking anymore than losing the use of 3 perks in the blocking tree and the benefit of the shield's defense rating itself. It can still shield bash and block normal blows just as effectively.
  6. Going on foot feels the best. Fast traveling is convenient but skips out on a lot of potential random encounters and good scenery.
  7. I prefer Dragonplate over Daedric myself. But that's because Daedric looks alien, specially the helmet, and that the Dragonplate really looks right at home in very cold places, which Skyrim has plenty off. 8. As said there are a lot of solutions besides the block perk and enchantments. -Taking the proper stone sign is one of the best method for levels when mages start using more than novice spells. -Potions, healing, resist and specially poison if you do alchemy. A poison to stop their mana regen usually stops them long enough and you can still deplete their mana pool easily at low levels, unlike higher level mages. -Companions and summons that can deplete their mana while you run around. When they start to slow down for regen, you then use a resist potion then attack and hope you kill them first. -That or if you're one handed, dropping the shield and spamming dual wielding power attack with potions and food also work instead of tanking their damage. -And more you can probably think off.
  9. You're better off smithing it yourself or sticking to Ebony set instead. They have an extremely rare random loot rate. And trying to get a full set from it would nearly be impossible. Ebony can reach armor cap easily.
  10. I've had a lot of "Woah" moments as I play. But the most unforgetable is definitely the time when a Spriggan I was fighting decided to charm and drop an Ancient Dragon behind me while I was playing around with it. :pinch: Related screenshot. http://www.skyrimnexus.com/imageshare/image.php?id=12848
