  1. Why it has to be horses? what about pretty anything with a strong spine? I'm thinking large domesticated riding lizard, say a more tame relative of the deathclaw. Oh, I agree. But as people were talking about horses being extinct in the Americas, I though I'd point out a loophole in case someone really wanted to try a horses mod and hadn't thought of a lore friendly way of explaining it. But, yes, any ridable creature would be neat
  2. One way of sneaking a few horses past the lore, would be via refugees from Europe. I gather that a few of these have cropped up now and again in-game, and unless something's been said about how they got to the America's (by boat over the Atlantic or by land across the Arctic) that obviously prevents it, then I suppose it's not impossible that a group of them managed to bring over a surviving horse or two. Highly unlikely, of course, but the world of Fallout is packed to the rafters with Highly Unlikely, plus a hefty dose of Downright Impossible :D
  3. Just to clarify in no uncertain terms, you are not allowed to release DLC assets without requiring people to have the DLC. [edit] I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to release original assets at all, though I may be wrong [/edit] I really don't think that the 'But I changed the workshop info' defence will cut any mustard with Bethesda, and likely not with Nexus. Referring to the vanilla textures does sound like a much better idea, but releasing the unmodified meshes (despite the .nif being modified) might still get you in trouble. But why not PM or Email one of the Nexus admins and (on the Bethesda forums) one of the Bethesda community managers, so you actually get the real answer rather than the opinions of a bunch of people who'd very much like your mod? At best you get a definitive all clear that you can cite if anyone claims your mod is breaking the rules. At worst, you save yourself wasted time, work, and a ban from Nexus. Unless, of course, you'd rather not have the real answer.
  4. Physics for shorter hair, definitely. For longer, I'm undecided. The original does get that ugly tear/crease at about neck level when the character head turns. If that disjoint could be lengthened over a stretch of hair, so it wasn't so obvious, I'd say the original would be better for the longer hair.
  5. Yep, that does it. Thanks, I'll remember that :).
  6. Yup, it works with IE too. Just Chrome it doesn't work with. *expletive deleted*. Oh well. Thanks for the help.
  7. Like I say, when I select on 'Edit file' nothing happens. No pop-up, no new screen, no 'waiting for...' message from the browser, nothing. I'm using Chrome, but I haven't had any problems with other features before. I'll try IE (yuck :() and see if that works. Just a sec...
  8. I've uploaded a new file to one of my projects, and I'd like to make it the first file to appear, preferably move the older file to 'Old versions'. I can't work out how to do this. I assumed this would be done with the 'Edit file' button, but when I select on it nothing happens - for either file. Am I being stupid, or is there a problem somewhere? Also, is there a FAQ on how to manage files? For the life of me I can't find one. Thanks for any help :).
