Seems the editor ate the text to my post after adding the image. I will post how to get it working in a little bit. Just don't feel like repeating myself at this time.

Nevermind on the steps. I am personally giving up on this client after lots of time devoted into getting it to work. Now it works for the first launch to first few just fine but then it goes to the logo and gives a message it has encounted a problem, which comes from the client, not WINE. In fact, WINE does not complain or throw an error.

2) bump:

 

on linux mint 20.2 Uma + Wine 6.0.x, i made a NTFS partition for the sake of write permissions :-

 

 

0.52 (earliest compiled non-community release) is crash on run.

0.65 (latest non-community release) is crash after game setup.

0.80 (latest community release) is crashing after game setup.
