Rain ripples on water surfaces are gone

I used to have normal rain ripples on water, but not anymore. I have no idea what happened and I'm hoping you guys would have some suggestions.

 

I've rotated many mods so far, but as for water I've only used RWT and Water for ENB. Both used to show rain ripples.

I'm currently using Water for ENB and it's installed properly. I thought something was off with textures and meshes, so I installed Ripples, and still nothing.

Turning ENB effect on and off doesn't change anything regarding this matter.

 

My rain appears normally, the water looks and behaves as intended. But no ripples where they are supposed to appear - on bodies of water exposed to the sky. I didn't know this would bother me so much until it happened. Now it seems as if the rain is "fake" because water doesn't react to it at all.

Those were actually fish farts, but since I have learned about the alchemical power of salmon roe, there are no more fish in Skyrim. >.<

I have an update on this issue.

I've noticed that I have ripples indoors, like in caves when the water is dripping from the ceiling. But not outdoors when it's raining.

So the only solution to this problem that I have been able to find is to install the combination of Realistic Water Two and Water for ENB by this recipe. I sacrificed a few FPS, but I have my fish farts again. And, well, the water looks very nice overall.
