Dark_Link2135 Posted August 19, 2004 Share Posted August 19, 2004 i have a sapphire ati radeon 9800 pro 256 mb ddr video card i need a good firmware, and a utility to flash it to an xt, i have an artic silencer rev 3, so plenty of cooling. plus, will my currently installed catalyst drivers work? Btcc22 Posted January 5, 2005 Share Posted January 5, 2005 Well, I think that card has 8 pipelines as well so that's OK, no need to flash it. Try a program called "ATITool". You could get custom drivers such as Omega but I don't like them as the options are limited and the performance gain seems non exsistent. Catalyst drivers will not work as they lock the clock settings on a card. ATITool gives you drivers upon running it for the first time.http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/ Hope that helps.
