Ok, at this point have done everything I think is possable to repair this issue.

I have taken out my AppUpdateStats.blob file in steam and rebooted it after the aboved directions from posters.

I have tried methods shown on YouTube...still the same results.

I hate being confind to just the base Master file but I guess that is all I can do. This bites.

Okday, so I did as everyone had suggested but I am still running into the same issue as the orginal poster.

Seems like it doesn't want to load more then the main Skyrim master file.

Error I get:

Assert

File: C:\_Skyrim\Code\TESV\TES Shared\misc\BGLocalizedString.cpp

Line:2871

LOCALIZATION:Error opening or reading strings file.

I hit Ignore button and get this in turn.

MASTERFILE: LOCALIZATION:Zero entries or empty block size read from strings file STRINGS/Hearthfires_ENGLISH.Strings. Strings wil be missing.

So I hit Yes to all. Then it Does the whole Microsoft Windows:

Creation Kit has stopped working

Check online for a solution and Close the program

or

Close the program.

This is very annoyed and I hope someone can answer my call for help.

I had exactly the same problem you describe here.

Spelling is crucial.

Everything the previous poster say to do is correct except the spelling.

You must spell the names of the BSA files correctly.

Once I put them in the same order as my load order and spelled them correctly, BINGO!

"Dawnguard.bsa, Hearthfires.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa"

I'm having sorta the same problem. I can use the DLS in creation kit but one one at a time. I tried the thing to type in, the master file thing from earlier post. Couldn't find anything that said master file so I put it in the bottom and still the same I cant use more than one DLC at the same time on creation kit.

i see that a lot of people are suggesting you enter bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 under the general tab in the skyrim.ini file in the skyrim directory. First, skyrim.ini is not in the skyrim directory, at least not the game folder. It is under my documents/my games/skyrim

secondly, it will do you no good whatsoever to enter that line into that file. The correct file really is in the skyrim game directory, but it is called SkyrimEditor.ini

Yes, you enter bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 under the general tab, that much was correct.

I am getting the same problem as well. What do you mean the BSA files are misspelled? Where at.? Where do I fix them at?

EDIT* Disregard I figured it out after reading through everything again. It seems both my BSA files were missing the dlcs, and I needed the other line under general. Works now.
