I've only been playing M&B since March and I quickly found the mod community thanks to being a long-time member of the Nexus. I thoroughly enjoyed Brytenwalda (being a Brit, heh) and dabbled a little in Floris. I then heard about one of the Floris team-members who had moved on to making his own mod, Silverstag. I loved it so much I quickly became involved in the feedback and friendly community and was eventually invited to become a beta tester. This developer and his team are very open about changes, requests, feedback, future goals and any stumbling blocks. That is a welcome change to some mods I've been involved with.
