blackflamenova Posted June 8, 2021 Share Posted June 8, 2021 Hi Nexus Denizens, I have this list of mods downloaded for New Vegas, I think my PC specs should be fine enough to handle it. I'm running into problems though and it's probably my fault. I was wondering if someone could tell me what the proper load order/mod rules would be on vortex and which mods aren't necessary or redundant. Also, any recommendations for mods to make the game look better or add more to do/to the game, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for anyone taking the time to look at this mess and help me figure this out. Gwyn21 Posted June 8, 2021 Share Posted June 8, 2021 Clarity and Nevada Skies are not compatible for starters. Populated Casinos and Populated Strip are buggy get Casino Crowds instead. And Strip NPCs Uncut too. You don't need Mission Mojave. You already have YUP. Which is much better. Freeside Open needs a lot of patches you're missing. In general Freeside Open is a broken mess, and breaks a lot of vanilla quests in Freeside. It's also incompatible with a lot of mods, and needs patches for them as well. Gwyn21 Posted June 8, 2021 Share Posted June 8, 2021 Also, Hitman made the anniversary pack recently. Get that instead of 1st Person Weapon Animation Overhaul. Since it includes the rest of his animation mods. ILO needs patches that don't exist. Get Simple Interior Lighting instead. It's compatible with nearly everything except... Nevada Skies. They're both good but Altitude isn't compatible with the Friend of the Night perk. Altitude is generally better so get that if you don't care about that perk. You don't need the weapon mod menu because one of the options lets you remove weapon mods.
