abaxter0000 Posted June 10, 2013 Share Posted June 10, 2013 So i just re installed Skyrim because i was having so many issues and they have not stopped. I am running everything on med. except for detail which is at high. i have an i7 laptop with 2gb nvidia graphics card, 8gb of ram. I feel like i should be able to run Skyrim with no mods on max graphics easily with this system. Please help, I bought this laptop with Skyrim in mind and it is very frustrating to not be able to run it smoothly. The problems are that Fps on the above settings start at 22-23 and will randomly drop to about 10 for 30 seconds then go back up again for about a minute and then repeat. Georgiegril Posted June 10, 2013 Share Posted June 10, 2013 It seems to me that you should be gettiing better performance than you are, however you give no specifics about settings or mod related information.So, generally speaking, I suggest you have a look at the Geforce Tweak Guidethe STEP guide (especially sections about graphics card and ini tweaks),and RookieNoobs tweak guide.
