Standown Posted June 10, 2021 Share Posted June 10, 2021 I have currently a few models for some iron WarAxes with 3 tiers for upgrading in-game, Is this possible on the Creation Kit? IsharaMeradin Posted June 10, 2021 Share Posted June 10, 2021 Not possible solely with the Creation Kit. You will need to use a few functions added to Papyrus by SKSE. Take a look at The Huntsman for a working example (and by extension the "unofficial patch" for it). Basically, the model assigned to the weapon record is changed via script. IsharaMeradin Posted June 10, 2021 Share Posted June 10, 2021 Thought about this a bit more... You can have a single item and change its appearance, stats and other things via script. That script can be called via a spell's magic effect but the necessary maintenance code to maintain the changed appearance will have to be done on a player alias script. Requires SKSE added functions. Any tempering or player added enchantments shouldn't be lost. You can have multiple items where each one is a stronger variant. Each version could have a different appearance and the only scripting needed would be to swap out the older weapon for the newer one. Does not require SKSE, but does require multiple weapon records and planning how and when you want each variant to be replaced. Any tempering or player added enchantments will be wiped when variants are swapped. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
