wifiman
Hi there. It's been awhile since I've played Skyrim since High Algo Boost seemed to have messed it up. Before I used it, I had crisp and clean graphics at the expense of my FPS which I was okay with. But then after I used High Algo Boost, the graphics turned crappy and blocky. The graphics aren't sharp or crisp; they're dull and kind of faded-like, but I don't lag anymore. I've decided I can't play Skyrim like this and would rather have it without the High Algo Boost. Can someone help me? I've tried deleting and reinstalling Skyrim already.
ZeroKing
Delete HialgoBoost, then. Then verify your game cache via Steam.
BravoOskar
yes delete all hialgoboost files you have installed before or just turn it off in the main game menu using F10 key
prod80
HiAlgo boost works through degrading your graphics (claiming it's not visible - but of course it is) in order to gain more FPS. If it would be a FPS boost without any visual loss it would of been bought by any large corporation by now.
BravoOskar
easiest way is to just turn it off with F10 works for me when i am sick of blocky textures sometimes i rather have low fps then an ugly game
talynamberskye
I need to uninstall it, I think it messed with one of my mods, my followers will no longer follow me, after having the right dialogue. Every time I try to uninstall, it says shut it off first. I am not running it in the game, I am not even in the game. I can't play now. Someone have an answer? Thanks
