Black Texture Issues - First Person Aiming

Hey All,

 

So I've been modding New Vegas for quite a long time. I've recently gotten an upgraded laptop, and was extremely happy to finally be able to use a LARGER number of mods / high quality textures with FNV since my GPU can finally handle it.

 

Unfortunantly, when I am playing - - certain armors/clothing that I wear results in very strange BLACK texture issues ONLY in First-Person View.

 

I've attached some screenshots of the issue below, and I am hoping SOMEONE out there has seen and fixed this issue in the past.

 

I believe I've narrowed it down to a few potential mods conflicting or a individual mod issue.

 

The mods that I BELIEVE are causing the texture issues are:

 

- NMCs Texture Packs (LATEST / HIGHEST QUALITY)

- Weapon Retexture Project - WRP (LATEST)

- Weapon Mods Expanded Ultimate Edition - WMXUE (LATEST)

 

I believe that the textures that are acing up are the "first-person" aiming/animation files. Like the ones that Weapon Animation Replacers use.

 

Believe me when I say -- I have tried freakin' EVERYTHING to solve this. I've deactivated all mods, used BOSS to change load order, done custom load orders, tried activating certain combinations of mods, uninstalled/reinstalled mods in certain orders, deactivated/activated ARCHIVEINVALIDATION, much much much more....

 

Nothing's worked, and the issues remain. Please help me figure this out. It's unplayable as I am unable to see when in first-person view and I HATE 3rd person.

That might be a problem with the mesh of the armor you're wearing having improperly-named NiTriShape blocks.

Hey Luthienanarion,

 

I thought it had SOMETHING to do with armor textures/meshes, but I have absolutely NO mods that affect Armor / Clothing textures & meshes (unless NMC's texture pack or WRP does some sort of replacing).

 

I figured that popular mods like these wouldn't have an error like this go unnoticed. Which is what led me to believe that the COMBINATION of these mods is causing a conflict or negating a mesh somewhere.

 

If you have any further advice, please let me know. I am desperate to play this game with the mods, but it sucks since the majority of armors/clothing have this missing mesh.

Hey Caspurrr, did you fix this issue? I use the same mods (and then some), so it's nice to know you only use 3. That narrows it down.

I think you might be right that it's NMC + Weapon retexture projekt that causes it, though I haven't tested this.

 

I also have a problem where the first person perspective is skewed up/down/to one side. Do you have this as well?
