kalamadae Posted June 13, 2013 Share Posted June 13, 2013 Installed a couple of mods, nothing out of the ordinary and deleted one i wasnt using anymore (or never used to start with). When i went back to the game all character animations had haulted completely! No one moves, enemies dont attack, i cant even draw my bow or swing my sword! >.> Does anyone have any suggestions? I get i may need to reinstall skyrim to fix this but if i can avoid doing that i will since the installation disk is packed and i havent a clue where it is right now :( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have had a similar problem before, though: try drawing your sword or some form of melee weapon and hitting something squishy, my problem was that the game would function properly, but it wouldn't LOOK like it was. Also, what mod did you uninstall?A mod for improved animations so that your character didnt have the same animations as NPCs and others of your race... making you unique. Since i never used it or cared for it i got rid of it. Id have to search to find it again tho, cant remember the title. Actually i wonder if FNIS had anything to do with it? kalamadae Posted June 13, 2013 Author Share Posted June 13, 2013 It all started after i installed FNIS.... i have just tried reinstalling it, and checking the info like a fine tooth comb. Disabling it causes my problem, and has done since installing it. Uninstalling FNIS does nothing new. Having FNIS running does do something different, but still has my game messed up, and that being, i can no longer attack or talk to people.But it turns out FNIS Idle spells was the cause. After i deactivated and uninstalled it the problem was fixed. It must have been clashing with an essential file or something else ive got installed. Either way all is good but its a shame because i hear so many good things about FNIS. Could it just be the spells boost thats the issue perhaps? Well now i know the cause im happy for the thread to be closed, thankyou for everyone that helped, it may have taken me longer to figure out without the pointers i was given to try.
