Yeah... I guess I was just thinking for those of us that use "adult" content and therefore would be more than ok with it in Hot Files, but we also share space with parents/grandparents/tweenagers and don't want to have to do the whole "it's not wat it looks like!" dance when we go to the site because the Hot Files on the main page are out of my control.

I don't know, I'm crazy. But I had to explain why bewbies were on my screen to my mother when she was visiting and Sevenbase was up.(I'm not knocking it as a mod- it's just how the cover image came up that caused me grief.)

While I’m no expert in the field let me provide some advice: if seeing a penis mod throws you into a fit of quizzical fury you might need to explore your own sexuality a bit further. Don’t repress it, explore it. You’ll save yourself lots of therapy payments in the future.

A bit cheeky are we Robin? LOL...well done and thanks for the update. Things are looking well for the Nexus

I find it really amusing how many people comment on the nudity issue. All that text and most people comment on the penis. Haha.

Thanks for the update. Looking forward to it.

The problem with tags blocking is that the system is damaged by users who tag improperly. For example, Book of Silence is currently tagged as German not because it is made specifically for a German version of the game, but because it works on the German version and 3 people thought it made sense to vote up the German tag. This results in Book of Silence being blocked for users who want to block language tags other than English.

So some work should be done to educate users that tags are not for situations when a mod "happens to work with that", but rather when a mode "requires that" or "is made specifically for that".

As a wrestler who has showered a hundred times with other men, I have no problem with my own sexuality. However, I do have a problem with porn of either sex, as it only serves to weaken men and objectify women. To think it is so rooted in our entertainment, and so defended and excused saddens me. I am grateful for the tagging system that allows me to hide such mods so that I don’t have to waste my time sorting through them for the mods I am interested in.

So because I didn't care for having a penis-shaped standing stone staring me in the face every time I loaded SkyNex up for a week, I have "quizzical fury"?

Especially the last days when it was #1 and was the very first on the hotfile marquee.

In response to post #8293801.

When uploading images you can tick a box whether the image contains Adult Only contents. Myself I usually check the box of any image I upload, that either portrays graphic violence or scantily dressed people (not nude, but the type of clothing that falls into the "lingerie" category.)
I don't have any kids of my own, but I can appreciate that people who do have kids, do not wish them to view what could be considered to be too graphic imagery. You can try your best to keep your kids away from stuff like that, but there's no 100% full proof method that covers all bases.
By flagging some of my uploaded pics as Adult, people can use the filter and thus have a better chance to prevent their kids from catching a glimpse of something they -the parents- would not approve of.
