Greetings fellow Nexus-users.

After countless hours of Skyrim, it starts to feel a bit "dull" and "not-so-alive".
I thought about it, and I realized one way to make the areas feel more alive:

Idle Markers. That's the answer. Let the people do something.
In Skyrim there's quite alot things that NPC's can do, but there's only couple idle markers here and there.

"I will not stand idly by while a dragon burns my hold and slaughters my people!"

What I'm asking for is to place these markers around the world, in places where it'd be logical to see those things happen.

I can't remember all the things I've seen, but some examples would be:

Brushing the floor, This one is quite much used. But there's more.

Hammering wall, (Fixing it/reinforcing it.), this would be one good addition as well. Maybe guards doing it near their guard post, etc.?

I was reading the creation kit page regarding this case and something poked me in the eye:

"Such as PatrollIdleMarker, Which includes set of ten animations like shifting weight or swatting flies"

What? I've NEVER seen anyone swatting flies, just coincidence, or maybe this marker has been used only couple of times? (Which has been the case in some things in Skyrim. Cool stuff wasn't used more than couple of times) I can't access CK ATM, as my game is in uninstalled condition. (DL'ing currently.), but I'd LOVE to throw these markers around guard locations to make them actually do something when guarding areas.

This is sort-of Request and Mod talk at the same time, as if I get enough info regarding the subject I might start working on it myself.

Questions regarding the "I'll do it myself"- part:
1. Does placing idle marker require anything else than simply throwing it in world?

2. Do I need to attach the marker to specific NPC to make them use it, or could I just place markers around the world and see people doing the stuff?

3. Do NPC's have enough "Free time" (Aka. sandbox time) to utilize new markers? Or would I need to attach them directly to markers?

4. Would this cause performance hits? Let's say I put 25 new markers to Whiterun, would it cause sort-of-lag when people start seeking the markers?

If this catches attention and people show interest, I'll start putting more thought to this. (And ask admin to throw this into Mod talk)

Main idea would be to give markers to sandboxing NPC's, so this would go well together with mods that add new NPC's to areas.
