Druid Mod Remade

After installing and adding the mod to my data files as well as adding the script extender, I am having no luck with it. When the game starts it asks me if I want to activate the mod or something along those lines. I hit yes and proceed to Novaroma in Bruma to buy the book to begin the quest but the book is not there. The guy who sells stuff does not have it. Am I missing something on the installation side of things or am I just not doing something right in game? Any help is appreciated. If all else fails, the original druid mod works and I will just stick to that.

I am playing on the Oblivion Game of the Year version via Steam FYI.

It do sounds like that mod conflicts with something for sure. I have not tested it. Add your mod list here so we can try to figure out what it is or what you do miss to make the game working. It might be the Steam version in it self as well, I do not know but it differ some to the stand alone version.

Best way to make many mods to work together is to patch them with Wrye Bash and there are lots of more fixes you can install if you are interested. I can link them but I done it so many times already at this forum but I can do it again, but after you added your mod list so I not do stuff you already know about. What Wrye Bashed patch is doing best is to combine level lists and allow several mods to use the same chest as the book is in a chest and sometimes it do take a couple of days in game to allow an item in a traders chest to become visible for the player. When I add stuff to my own traders, it takes 2-3 days in game until I can buy them.

To get the book, you can do it in 2 different ways and the easiest is to open the console inside the store and type:

TCL

and go through the wall and find the chest while you crough and if your sneaking is low, combine it with a chameleon spell, open the chest buy clicking it while you have the console up and type:

Unlock

Peek inside and see if the book is there and if it is, you either grab it or wait a couple of days until the trader get his inventory updated. The trader does not have any stuff on them as they are in the traders chest that are linked and owned by the trader and hidded behind the walls or under the floor. In Morrowind those chests where visible and so damn easy to just unlock and why Bethesda left them in the open, do bothers me a lot really...

To open the console, well it is key left of [1] and you close it with the same key while you move and click it again when you see the chest.

The other way is to add the book to your inventory but that requires you know the ID which you get from TES4EDIT or CS, so do use the first way if you are not familar with CS or TES4EDIT.
