Head over there for rules, announcements, and general information related to the RP. OOC (out of character) discussion should take place there as well, not here.***

In the beginning there was nothing. From this nothing the great and glorious Dark0ne created the realm of The Nexus...many of the other creations saw that it was good and came to live there.

To help his creation, The Dark then created Brothers and Sisters to help The Nexus grow and to protect its denizens.

The kingdom of Nexonia was formed by those in the Realm. The Goddess looked down and found it and its new Queen pleasing. She decided to go there, flying down in the form of a Raven.

She picked a lovely tree close to the palace from where she could observe. As she spread her ebony wings to land a gust of wind came up and pushed her off her chose path. Rolling beak over tail The Goddess missed the branch, hitting the limb instead and plummeting to the ground.

She rose, feathers ruffled and black eyes darting back and forth to see if anyone had observed her less than Goddess-like landing. Hopping back towards the tree a small, shiny object caught her eye...distracting her from her objective.

*A shiny bauble to sooth my mood. I am Goddess...do I not deserve it?* The Goddess hopped toward the shiny that just happened to be under a beautifully decorated window where the Queen and her Court would meet....

Auriana Valoria walked with a brisk pace through the grand hall of her new palace. The final preparations were being made for her coronation as the Queen of Nexonia, and she was nothing short of a nervous wreck. The likelihood of this ceremony going off without a hitch was slim to none. As if illustrating this point, the slick sole of her shoe slipped on the brilliantly polished marble floor, and the queen-to-be nearly fell flat on her face.

Nearly.

With a sigh, she straightened and smoothed the front of her dress. It was a simple dress of green and black velvet, soon to be exchanged for her coronation gown...whenever she could locate her Royal Fashion Advisor. It was not something to which she looked forward; she would much rather have breeches, a comfortable shirt, and her sword at her side. But this occasion called for something more elegant and feminine than that.

Sighing again, she strode forward, her heels clicking as she went. "Mistress Mythic?" she called, her voice echoing around the gigantic hall, which would be filled to the brim with people in a few hours' time, "Mistress Mythic?"

The Lord of Lunacy greeted the Cheshire Cat, for he too was off his nut. And they both enjoyed a spot of tea as the day rolled by, unprepared for what was to happen next....

The Master of the Hunt was very busy with his duties, as the celebration following the coronation would require a great feast, and a great feast needed a great deal of meat to feed those in attendance.

He strode through the woods, sure footed, hot in pursuit of what would likely be the highlight dish of the feast: a very large, dangerous, and well known bear that inhabited the woods, preying on lesser hunters.

As he arrived at the entrance to the bears den, a large cave, where he stopped a moment to wonder just what the new Queen was doing at the moment...

The Goddess found in the grass, under the window a small piece of stained glass. She put it in her beak and was considering where to hide it when she heard the Queen's voice. Flapping her larger wings (She was much bigger than normal Ravens) she flew, glass in beak up to the window's edge. The Goddess at first was distracted as she caught sight of her reflection. She turned her head to and fro, looking with pleasure with her black eyes at her form.

Despite her earlier "landing" her feathers were shiny, her eyes bright. However unlike most Ravens, she had a streak of white that ran down the right side of her head all the way down to her tail. Preening for a moment, the Goddess broke out of her self-contemplation as she heard the Queen call again for her royal whatevers.

The Goddess though that the wearing of clothes foolish, except as protection. Still more foolish the habit of women to wear clothing they could not take on and off themselves. She made better use of those who served her.

*Why should one cover their form. It is how the creation made them! Such worry about it all.*

Still, she thought...there were many shiny things attached to the clothing. Considering that, the Goddess noted the small area of window from which the piece of glass had fallen. She stuck one beady, black eye to it...allowing her to peer into the area and watch the proceedings. When some other birds came to sit on the window she gave them a hard look. Realizing this was not an ordinary raven they flew away in a whirlwind of feather and calls.

*Noisy gossips* She though as she stuck her eye back to the hole to watch.

Stewie was strolling along the halls of the castle, admiring the floors that he had cleaned and polished to perfection. He was also carrying a small parchment with names on it that he was occasionally looking at and mumbling various things to himself from time to time.

He slowly made his way to the Grand Hall where his soon-to-be queen was. Stewie would've arrived quicker but the floors might have been just a little too polished....and thus a tad slippery. "Nothing to worry about, that will wear out some by the time of the celebration...I hope" - the janitor thought to himself.

He peaked inside the large Hall that housed the throne and saw Auriana. Stewe walked inside, parchment in hand. "Ah, my Queen-to-be! I'd like to know if an orchestra has been chosen already to play during your corination. If not, I know a some great musicians that can be found in a nearby town. I've heard their music. It's spectacular!"

While enjoying his tea with the Lord of Lunacy, the GPPS cat sniffs and says "There is a distinct whiff of pepper in the air. The queen must be nearby, I must be off" The cat slowly disappears, until only his smile remains. That too vanishes with a pop!

The Royal Fashion Advisor was beside herself with joy as she gazed upon the newly unveiled brilliance of Queen Auriana's coronation gown. Having hand-picked the fabrics herself and made sure that there was not even a speck of dust upon them (through employ of a servant or seven) and that it was prepared and ready to be hoisted over the Queen's head and laced up tightly at the back.

Mistress Mythic herself stood with her arms crossed infront of the gown, in one hand a small goblet of champagne, and in the other a cake of some description, having consumed an innumerable number prior, she was in a pleasant mood as the sugar rushed through her veins and the liquor washed the cake down.

Running out of the tailors chambers as she heard the Queen calling, Mistress Mythic happened upon her majesty to be by colliding with the almost-monarch.

"Auriana! Darling!, darling you simply have to see the dress! It's *hic* perfect darling!" With a slightly unnerving giggle coming from nothing of any apparent amusement, she grabbed Auriana's arms and attempted to pull her down the hallway.
