armour and clothing looks weird on my character

I usually play on oldrim but decided recently to start a new game on special edition, after the modding the game all the clothes and armour in the game are kind of morphing around my characters (and npc's) bodyshape? this never happened to me on oldrim and i've installed basically all the same mods, not sure what's caused it and i would appreciate if anyone could tell me why this happening :smile: (also i've never posted here before, forgive my formatting)

CBBE for SE comes with all the clothing/armor already shaped to the CBBE body. CBBE for LE does not and requires other mods for vanilla clothing/armor. That's probably the difference you see.

oh i see i never got those mods that changed the armour for le so that would explain why it looks different, do you know if there's any way i can make the armour in se look more like vanilla and not shaped to the cbbe body??

Yes, use Bodyslide to shape the body + armor/clothing to whatever shape you'd like using presets or you can reinstall CBBE and choose the vanilla options. Or, just uninstall CBBE if you want vanilla.
