Also, someone told me that it should be in a separate folder on the same drive as the game. I don't know why vortex-setup-1.4.15.exe Is in AppData, but I expect it would still be there if I reinstalled Vortex under Programs. I have been running Vortex from the D: drive for years now, and I can't understand why it is suddenly being blocked. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
HadToRegister Posted August 1, 2021 Share Posted August 1, 2021 CAPS for EMPHASISThe only thing that needs to be on the same drive as the game is the MOD STAGING FOLDER.I'm not sure where people got the impression that Vortex itself needs to be installed on the same drive as the game.But, to save space on your C:\ drive, you should put your DOWNLOAD folder on D:\ as well.
