ConnorTaylor97
Hi, I would like some advice with Skyrim lighting, and fx. I have two mods installed currently that affect lighting, and for the most part work fine, but I have issues in certain places. They are Enhanced Lighting and FX, and Realistic Lighting Overhaul. For example anywhere in the wilderness is great, and so are town exteriors, especially Riften marketplace. But if I go inside certain buildings, almost always Jarl's Palaces or Inns, I get horrible glare from lights and fires, which is very unrealistic and looks terrible. I am wondering whether there are any fixes for these issues, or whether I should try a different combination of mods, or maybe an ENB. My computer is mid-ranged and could probably run the ones that aren't too demanding. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. (It won't let me upload any pictures to show because they're too large)
prod80
Those 2 mods are not compatible, and neither of them influence wilderness lighting. If you also have Climates of Tamriel, that influences wilderness lighting... but you have to be careful you don't install CoT's dungeon modules if you wanna use RLO or ELFX next to CoT. So pick either one of them... Your lighting problems will probably go away then. After that pick an ENB which is compatible with RLO or ELFX... for instance, RealVision ENB, which has a performance option as well for mid-end systems. If you want to go that road of course.... maybe just removing ELFX or RLO will fix it good enough for you.
IanEG
I would recommend using the RCRN 2.0 beta along with ELFX. Both work well together and make Skyrimm look great and are not too hard on your system.
