aldz24 Posted July 25, 2013 Share Posted July 25, 2013 This is probably my first post here in this forums :) I'm having a dilemma at hand, I currently am deciding which faces and body textures and maps to put on my female character/npcs/etc. i've browse through it all and have decided to choose "mature skin and texture mod". It's probably the most balance skin body/ mod i have seen!(talos bless the maker).Slight problem though the neckseams :( ..i use CHSBHC(basically cbbe) as my body and only have no more blocky faces as my installed mod for the faces..the male counterpart i have no problem with it since there is no neckseams or anything but the females are so hard to fix...each body/face texture i put there are neckseams (from navetseas own to bella's faces to sporty sexy maps)..i used the designated texblend lite and even texblend full to manually fix it myself(followed how it does and still has it).this is probably a common issue of cbbe bodies and i heard unp bodies on textures/maps have a seamless necks or a workaround around it but i like cbbe and i like big butts and i cannot lie :(. so in a nutshell how do i fix the neckseams and what face map is best use with the mature skin and texture mod?( or face texture too) hopefully someone helps ! edit:i used navetseas body before but the neckseam problems are not that big..stopped using bella's faces.. Jeir Posted July 25, 2013 Share Posted July 25, 2013 CBBE has seamless necks. The UNP seam fix was based on the CBBE one. If you use all of the textures from a certain mod (the body and face colour/spec/normal maps from Navetsea, Mature, etc) then there should be no seams. If you mix and match, then there will be issues, that can be solved with TexBlend. You only use TexBlendLite when you're using the default CBBE body textures and a face texture from another mod. So, you're using Mature skin, body and face, but you're using the NMBF normal map instead of the Mature one. Use TexBlend to fix the normal map, and only the normal map, as the seams for everything else should be sorted already. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
aldz24 Posted July 25, 2013 Author Share Posted July 25, 2013 hmmm thank you for the response .i always download NMBF first and overwrite it with whatever maps( i am interested in using) but the description in them mod says download nbmf ? should i not do it already since mature skin has already its own map? Apologies, I prefer my characters to look under 40, so I didn't really spend much time looking at Mature. =) 1. Install NMBF (or any face normal maps you want.)2. Install Mature skin body and face textures.3. Use TexBlend to blend the face normal map. The body one might be necessary, but you'll have to find out for yourself. aldz24 Posted July 26, 2013 Author Share Posted July 26, 2013 (edited) :O are you reading my mind right now? i'm currently trying those textures...but my game keeps ctding......reading the forums for it and it says it's got something to do with the bbp mod by chsbhc....but i only have one skelly mod though...so what i did is i replace it now with xp32 skeletons mod....will it probably work now with it?
