Batman Arkham games- default suit with no damage guide

It has always been my dream to finally play the default suit with no damage.

I always thought it was stupid how Asylum and City didn't give you a pristine or fixed version of the default skin after beating the game the first time as a reward. Arkham Knight did it right but they didn't even bothered to include that option as well to the remastered versions of the Ps4/Xbox one. It was cool the first time around that Batman takes damage throughout the game but it does get tiring for me that my suit was damaged all the time.

To start off, I would suggest that you do not get the undamaged version of the default skin from Mr. JAG which was published by KEVIN465MORAN at NexusMod: Original Arkham City Suit No Damage at Batman: Arkham City Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) . The skin has some damage on the cape, the texture looks off in the edges of the cape when gliding, and the face is bruised. I also posted a similar post about this over there in the posts about it :)

Now, I would recommend to go and get the community patch mod from NexusMod Arkham City Community Patch at Batman: Arkham City Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) because it does contain the default skin with no damage but you'll have to use the skin cheat code at the menu to access it before beating the game. You know, the one where you have to add directions in the main menu of the game that unlocks the skins for you to play since you can only play the skins on new game plus. I would suggest to look at Mr. JAG showcasing the community patch to see how it works: (20) FR MOD; Batman; Arkham City; Built In Free Roam Menu - YouTube. It's a nice bonus to also have play the other playable characters in free roam. However, you won't be able to play Harley Quinn's revenge since it has a bug where it goes on a forever loading screen so the ones who made this are working on solutions for it so be aware. They have a save file on the download files in the community patch which lets you get a save slot that allows you to play the dlc but on easy. If you have no idea how to install save file game, I got you covered: (20) TUTORIAL; Batman; Arkham; How To Install SaveGames - YouTube. Follow this process and if you have any problems trying this, let me know.

Another thing you can do is get the Old school New school batsuits mod from here NexusMod that gives you e3 trailer batman default skin which the cape and the cowl are darker or the remastered default skin from return to Arkham: Old school New school batsuits at Batman: Arkham City Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com).Those are great and always make sure to put those at the top or above the other skin mods in Textmod or otherwise there will be some textures leftovers from the previous original default skin which will look out of place.

Another skin for the default that I personally like is the all black skin that was shown by Mr. JAG : (20) SKIN; Batman; Arkham City; All Black Batman v1 - YouTube. Go in the comments and find the version with no white eyes. You'll see what I mean when you watch the video. Unfortunately, it does not come with a undamaged version of the skin but no worries, you can use the community patch mod like I talked about and use the pristine version to make it undamaged. Yet, in the cuteness, Batman will have the bullet hole in his chest during cutscenes but it goes away when done with the custcene and is back to gameplay. Again, use the directional code in the menu to select the pristine skin to play it if you haven't unlocked new game plus.

As for the Catwoman undamaged skin, you can get it through this link here: Catwoman - No Damage [batman: Arkham City] [Mods] (gamebanana.com) Note: she will have some damage after the poison ivy encounter with her having the scratches from the vines but it will go back to undamaged after the Two-Face bomb event in her apartment. After that, she will be like that during the Two-face part and the free roam part after you beat the game. Just to remind you, you’ll need Textmod installed for the Catwoman skin to work.

As for having the suit with no damage, you will have to download the console command into the game. Follow the instructions as to how in yet another video right here: (20) TUTORIAL; Batman; Arkham; How To Install Command Consoles - YouTube. By having the console command, you can enter a code which gives fixes batman suit. Entered the code: set rpawnplayerbm bUseDamageMeshes false and voila, just retry the checkpoint and you'll have the repaired suit. This is useful if you want to try a mod skin with no damage.

Here is yet another video from Mr. JAG that showcases the cheat codes on the console command and you can check out the list of the codes in the video description: (20) COM; Batman; Arkham Asylum; Command Cheat Codes - YouTube.

Lastly, for Arkham Origins undamaged default skin, just simply go and get it from NexusMod: Original Arkham Origins Suit No Damage at Batman Arkham Origins Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

With all that information provided, I hope that this helps a lot of you that wanted to have an undamaged version for the Arkham games for years. I saw that no one has given a straight answer online with good solutions into getting the undamaged default skin for these amazing Batman games. Also, do not forget to show your thanks for Mr. JAG and the other mod creators whose work I've directed to you. Without them, we wouldn't have the nicest things from them and have made the Arkham games more enjoyable.
