Exactly what it says on the tin. In popular media, Amazons are often portrayed as being of great stature, much like the giant-units in this game, and I would like to see a mod with that, changing all the amazon, and their heroes, to be the size of the giants. Changing the number of combatants per formation to be smaller would also be appropriate, like the current 24 per giant unit with the largest unit size. I'm not super-concerned about the combat values, but obviously I feel that they should be dangerous, and I guess even a layman like me can mess around with the numerical values if I can find them. I feel it would also be appropriate since the amazons' homeland has been destroyed and they're all exiles either trying to build a new home or take revenge. It would show that they're special, but also numerically few survivors in dire straits, classic fantasy stuff.

 

I don't know if the existing assets can be re-used or new assets needs to be created, but I hope not. I also don't know if it's gonna look outlandish to place these hypothetical huge amazons on appropriate huge horses, or if perhaps cavalry needs to be left out, perhaps having fast-running units to compensate, or perhaps one simply has to rely on centaurs and/or arimaspi riders. I guess one alternative would be to have human mercenary units as well. The duelling-animations between heroes might also be a concern if one of the is made larger, but again, I don't actually know.

 

I hope someone finds this idea interesting and takes the time to try and make a mod like it.
